S 07-23-1881 Mr. Beaumeister / Baumeister having new house built about 3 miles from Burlington.
F 07-26-1881 Will and John Wilson are renting and conducting the Palmer Gardner farm.
S 08-06-1881 D. M. Montgomery sold 136 acre farm about a mile and a half from Burlington to Mr. Crawford, a relative of William Wilson.
S 08-06-1881 Dr. Boyd, Episcopal pastor, living at residence of Mrs. Hartt at east end of Fox River bridge.
F 08-23-1881 D. Carl (Dietrich Karl - F 10/25/1881) is building a new residence on Jefferson st.
F 08-30-1881 Fine brick house on corner of Jefferson & West sts., owned by J. S. Crane, is offered for sale. Two lots and a good barn with well and cistern on the property. Also in F 9/6/1881. (Note: This is property on northeast corner where city parking lot is now (2008) located.)
