F 05-25-1886 H. C. Buell building addition to his residence on Washington st.
S 05-29-1886 Jake Steinhoff laid foundation of dwelling house on his farm north of Burlington. Stones used in foundation are flat "hard heads" of all colors. Masons never saw anything like it.
F 06-01-1886 Mrs. Lucinda Everitt building kitchen and pantry on rear of her residence on Pine st. adjoining stone block of Fred Leber.
F 06-01-1886 Fred Willhoft raised house 2 feet 4 inches above foundation on which it formerly rested. S 5/22/1886 - will also add bay window.
F 06-01-1886 George Norton to build home on Lewis st. adjoining Mrs. E. Crawford's place.
F 06-01-1886 E. Kensler / Kinzle building new house on Conkey st., as are Charles Storms and Frank Heublein.
F 06-15-1886 Edward Rakow moved to house on east side of Fox river.

F 07-20-1886 John Schumacher bought lot on street near Conkey st. and will build residence. F 8/31/1886 - John Schumacher house between Kendall & Conkey sts. enclosed.
F 07-20-1886 F. H. Nims bought lot just west of H. C. Buell's residence on Washington st. from O. Vaughn; will build residence next summer. S 7/17/1886 - half of O. Vaughn's lot back of Teutonia Hall.
F 07-20-1886 Concrete sidewalk put in front of J. B. Buell's residence on Lewis st. (later 592 Lewis st.).
F 07-27-1886 Barn on Barney Tichlofen's property almost opposite Finke's brewery on "Main st." (McHenry st.) burned. S 7/31/1886 - Barney Tigelhofen's barn, a few blocks south of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
S 07-31-1886 John Eckert building brick dwelling on his homestead on Kenosha rd.
