F 09-23-1884 E. G. Henderson sold farm a few miles from Burlington. F 11/4/1884 - Henderson to auction farm implements, animals, and household furniture; farm 3-1/2 miles southeast of Burlington and Kenosha road.
F 09-23-1884 E. Wehmhoff building frame building at rear of his residence on corner of Pine & Washington sts. to be used as laundry, woodshed, and storeroom. Also in S 9/27/1884.

S 11-01-1884 To rent: House on Chestnut st. formerly occupied by M. T. Hayes.
F 11-04-1884 Mrs. Caroline Krueger to sell 100 acre farm, 2-1/2 miles north of Burlington on Honey Creek road, at auction. (Could be S 8/16/1884 - barn burned at Mrs. Kroeger's farm 1 mile north of Burlington.)
S 11-08-1884 Mrs. Ann Haigh to have auction at her farm in northeast corner of town of Burlington near head of Brown's Lake.
F 12-02-1884 P. Maginnis bought Von Rosenberg farm at Norton's lake; ice houses nearly opposite the farm.
F 12-09-1884 A. P. Coombs and family of Rochester moved to Burlington; occupy small house owned by F. S. Perkins nearly opposite the public school building.
F 12-16-1884 John Hegeman built another house on one of his lots a block or two southeast of his residence on Geneva st.

F 03-10-1885 George Smith bought house and lots on east side of White river, formerly owned and occupied by Mr. Windmuller, from E. G. Henderson. Also called former Boub property. F 3/24/1885 - George Smith changed mind on buying Henderson property; instead bought 15 acre farm just west of Burlington from George Norton. Purchase from Norton also mentioned in S 3/28/1885.
F 03-10-1885 E. G. Henderson bought lot next to E. Merton's premises on Dyer st. and will erect a residence for his sister-in-law.
