S 11-05-1887 Daniel Foley bought F. A. Schwaller property on Geneva st. for $1,675.
S 11-12-1887 Mrs. Barbara Seibert / Seubert bought Mrs. Charles Zache's property on east side of Fox River.
S 11-19-1887 Ernest Micklish residence on corner of North & Second sts. - street lamp.
S 11-19-1887 C. A. Goodwin residence on Fox st. - street lamp.
F 11-23-1887 Personal property auction to be held at John Toomer farm, 2 miles southwest of Burlington.
S 11-26-1887 F. Reuschlein building new barn on his premises on Geneva st.
S 12-03-1887 P. Bowman / Bauman bought 40 acres from Daniel Haigh.
S 12-03-1887 M. G. Prasch removed fence and added side walks to residence on corner of Lewis & Conkey sts.
S 12-24-1887 James Noble and family moved to new residence in Lowe's addition.

F 01-11-1888 Mrs. Smith bought T. W. Durgin's stone house on Pine st., now occupied by M. B. Wightman and family and by Mrs. F. Allen and family. S 1/28/1888 - Reported sale of Durgin property on Pine st. did not materialize.
S 01-14-1888 Arthur Smith bought from H. P. Lowe 56 acres from east line of N. Weiler's farm to property bought by Mr. Foltz on Lewis. Smith also bought 4 acre building site on James st. and will build residence.
F 01-18-1888 Dr. C. J. Swan bought from Mrs. Nettie Carpenter her house and lot on Pine st. Dr. Swan to have the house thoroughly rebuilt. Also in S 1/21/1888.
F 01-25-1888 Dahlman farm, a half mile north of Burlington on the Wisconsin Central railroad line, offered as site for Racine County Insane Asylum. A Franksville site was selected (but later rejected).
F 01-25-1888 John H. Martin bought Simmons property just south of the Wilbur property near the St. Paul depot.
S 01-28-1888 House for sale on Johnson st. Inquire of John Hegeman.
F 02-01-1888 William Wagner to build a brick veneer house on his lot on Chestnut st. Also in S 2/4/1888.
F 02-01-1888 Mrs. Frank Allen rented Mrs. C. K. Miller's house on Chestnut st., lately occupied by Capt. H. D. Brown. S 1/28/1888 - Mrs. Allen will conduct dress-making establishment.
S 02-04-1888 Eugene Wehmhoff's barn on Pine st. lot moved to his West st. lot. (Barn relocation)
F 02-08-1888 T. W. Buell has sold the farm on which W. L. Stowell is tenant - both to have auction. F 2/15/1888 - farm auction ad.
F 02-08-1888 Dave McMurtrie rented half of the Durgin house on Pine st. and moved family in.
S 02-11-1888 Estate sale notice of Thomas Clarke property in sections 21 and 22, town 3, on Rochester rd.
F 02-29-1888 William C. Wilson to have a large brick veneer residence built on his farm a short distance northwest of Burlington on Gardner's Prairie; L. R. Coombs, contractor and builder.
