S 11-18-1899 Chauncy Brainard bought Harrison Dowd / Doud farm of 134 acres at executor's sale. Brainard had previously bought 14 acres of marsh land on east side of road. S 3/24/1900 - Mrs. David Brainard resides with son, Chauncy, just south of the Milwaukee depot.
S 11-18-1899 W. Dolister offers house and 2 lots near St. Paul depot for sale.
F 11-22-1899 F. Schemmer building a new house and barn in Schemmer's addition. Also in S 11/25/1899.
F 11-22-1899 Dr. W. A. Prouty bought 2 lots on Conkey st. from Wilbur Lumber Co. Lots are just west of Smithers & Foot factory recently destroyed by fire. Prouty will build a new barn at once and next year a new residence. S 11/25/1899 - lots between Dennis Forrest property and planing mill lot.
S 11-25-1899 Fred Rewald building residence on Kendall st.
S 11-25-1899 Mrs. Brever advertises residence on Geneva st. for rent.
S 11-25-1899 John Mathews and family to occupy one of Voorhees residences on Dyer st.
S 11-25-1899 A. Grossteuck has moved to residence next to old school house. (Voorhees house?)
S 11-25-1899 John Kornhoff and family, who were in Idaho, to make home on Disse farm north of Burlington.
S 12-02-1899 Emil Richter building new residence in Perkins Park.
S 12-02-1899 John Mathews and family moved to August Germann residence on McHenry st. Germann family to live in Bloomfield. Also in F 12/4/1899.
S 12-02-1899 John H. Smith, on T. J. Cunningham farm for several years, rented and moved to Allen farm in Lyons.
S 12-09-1899 T. J. Cunningham advertises old McCarthy farm of 98 acres for rent.
F 12-13-1899 A. E. Hatch bought lot on Kendall st. from Thomas Morton just west of Morton's residence. Hatch to build a residence. Also in S 12/16/1899.
S 12-16-1899 Dr. W. A. Prouty bought from Otto Grunwald / Grunewald the lot on Conkey st. where Smithers & Foot planing mill was formerly located.
S 12-23-1899 Frank Kuhn bought George Hall farm of 120 acres in Bloomfield. Kuhn worked the Breuckman farm south of Burlington for many years.
S 12-30-1899 R. J. Haas and family moved to Milwaukee.
S 12-30-1899 John Wentker, of Ashton, Iowa, leased F. H. Vos residence on Washington st. and will move in with family, mother Mrs. B. Wentker, Sr., and brother William. F 1/17/1900 - John Wentker and family moved from Ashton, Iowa, to Ebbers house on Geneva st.
S 12-30-1899 Henry Wentker, of Ashton, Iowa, leased and is living in Reuschlein residence on Geneva st. F 1/17/1900 - Henry Wentker and family moved from Ashton, Iowa, to house on Jefferson st. owned by F. H. Vos.
F 01-03-1900 Andrew Haas sold 2 lots nearly opposite J. T. Groff's residence on Chestnut st. to Henry J. Strohm. Strohm bought the tenant house on the Cavano farm and will move it to the lots for a residence. Also in S 12/30/1899. (House relocation)
F 01-03-1900 John Hoffman sold lot in Weiler's addition to P. H. Meyers who will build a new house.
F 01-03-1900 William Fell residence property on east side of Fox river sold to Fred C. Smith. Also in S 12/30/1899.
S 01-06-1900 Ralph Smith cottage on southwest shore of Brown's lake destroyed by fire last Monday.
S 01-06-1900 H. A. Rueter advertises Rueter residence on Geneva st. near Catholic Church for rent.
S 01-06-1900 Ed. Shields, living at 304 Jefferson st., advertises wood cutting service.
