S 04-30-1874 Jacob Muth, Sr., is building 2 new houses on the east side of Fox river.
S 06-04-1874 John Russell built 2 story frame house on his farm, formerly occupied by Mr. Helsor / Helser, near Durgin's bridge. Has taken down old house.
S 06-11-1874 Cellar wall of house occupied by Henry Corey on Chestnut st. fell in Monday caused by heavy rain. 1876 Directory shows Corey on north side of Chestnut st., 2 doors west of Fair Grounds.
S 07-16-1874 Mr. Morton sold dwelling house on Dyer st. to Mrs. Rivers of Rochester (May / Mary E. Rivers).
S 07-23-1874 Wallace French and father are building a frame residence on lots now occupied by the German Lutheran church (St. John's ?).
S 07-23-1874 Col. J. S. Crane's barn was moved south to E. S. Voorhees lot on Kane st. yesterday morning.
S 07-30-1874 Julius Zahn will have his house ready for occupancy in about 2 weeks.

S 11-12-1874 Caspar Scheidt offers for sale house and half acre on McHenry rd. opposite side of road from St. Mary's Catholic Church and about 5 rods to southwest.
S 11-12-1874 Will E. Hoyt has broken up keeping house in Burlington; Mrs. Hoyt to spend winter with father, Joseph Jackson of Rochester. Hoyt canvassing in Ohio for illustrated map.
S 11-12-1874 Mrs. William Hoyt advertises hairdressing at Jefferson st. home, one door west of Joseph Pieters.
S 12-03-1874 Dr. J. H. Cooper advertises his house on West st. for sale - news item and ad.
S 12-24-1874 J. W. Eggleston, agent for American sewing machines, moved residence to building formerly occupied by C. R. Wells on the corner of Pine & Washington sts.
S 12-31-1874 Rev. A. W. Curtis, pastor of Plymouth church - residence on Lewis st.
S 02-04-1875 D. C. Stiles offers for sale his Chestnut st. estate - 8 room house and 2 acres - opposite the center of the Racine County Fair Grounds. Also about 1-1/2 acres immediately west of Fair Grounds.
S 03-04-1875 Julius Lueck, newly elected County Treasurer, moved with family, from Burlington to Racine.
RA 03-06-1875 Henry O. Conklin bought lot 1, block 1, Perkins West addition, from Pliny M. Perkins.
RA 03-06-1875 Gasper Mugler / Casper Muegler bought part of section 4, Burlington, from John McKercher.
RA 03-06-1875 F. Zabler bought part of section 30, Burlington, from Pliny M. Perkins.
