RA 06-14-1873 John Stohr bought lot 6, block 59, from John Coughlin and wife.
S 06-19-1873 Foundation done for Jacob Gill's new house. S 6/26/1873 - Gill's new house described.
S 06-26-1873 Foreclosure notice: Herman Hallen vs. Gerhard and Elizabeth Baumeister on land in section 23, township 3.
S 08-21-1873 Foreclosure notice: Rufus Billings vs. George W. and Araline Bushnell and George A. and Nora T. Sherwood - parcel adjoining lot 1, block 5, of Perkins 1st addition, Geneva st.
S 08-28-1873 Benjamin Fox residence is near Scott's mill.
S 10-09-1873 Mr. Gill's new house being finished. S 10/30/1873 - Jacob Gill to move to new house next week.
S 10-09-1873 Dr. E. G. Dyer moving from residence he has occupied for 34 years. Sold to John Pennington Mather.
S 10-09-1873 John Pennington Mather moved to Dr. E. G. Dyer house from Mr. Kirkman's residence. Kirkman / Kerkman / Kerchman moved to his residence.
S 10-30-1873 James P. Perkins offers for sale newly built 5 room house and lot.
S 11-20-1873 Two sheriff sale notices on land of Bernhard Kuelkamp in sections 34 and 33, township 3.
S 11-27-1873 George Rosenhauer bought 40 acres from Thomas Slade 4-1/2 miles from the depot.
S 12-18-1873 Fire destroyed James Scott's mill and residence. S 12/25/1873 - Mr. Scott quickly rebuilt residence after disastrous fire.
S 01-08-1874 Chapin Moore bought 14-1/2 acre tract of Bernard Kuelkamp at sheriff's sale. Charles E. Dyer bought 20 acre tract, 25 acre tract, and 3/4 acre of roadway.
S 02-26-1874 Henry Kirkman / Kerkman and family again moved to town and occupy their residence on the corner of Geneva & Lewis sts.
S 02-26-1874 Christian Rasch bought Ambrose Hicks residence and lots on Chestnut st. Rasch to rent farm and move to town. S 3/12/1874 - lots 2 and 4, block 8, Perkins West addition. Also in RA 3/7/1874. (Lot 2 on south side of Chestnut st. near Origen st.; lot 4 at rear facing Origen st; lots form "L" around corner lot at Chestnut & Origen sts.)
S 03-12-1874 John Russell bought part of section 30, Burlington, from Joshua Helser / Helsor. Also in RA 3/7/1874.
S 03-19-1874 Ashley Turner rented residence formerly occupied by John Russell; Russell building new residence just beyond the Durgin Bridge.
S 03-19-1874 Mr. Reeves rented house now occupied by Lemuel Smith near the Union School House. (1876 Directory shows Giles G. Reeves living on east side of Dyer st., 2 doors south of Jefferson st.)
S 03-26-1874 J. Sullivan moved from Bassett Station, where he ran a store, to Burlington.
S 03-26-1874 Charles D. Crane offers house and lot on Dyer st. for sale. Also in subsequent issues.
S 04-02-1874 Choice building lot on Kendall st. - lot and a half between Mrs. Schumaker's and Mr. Kautsky's residences, opposite the Fair Grounds - John Wurms. Also in other issues.
S 04-09-1874 William Krueger, on Rochester rd. about mile and a half from Burlington, built barn 87 x 30, with extension for grain and a work shop of 16 feet. Sheep shed, 14 x 13, is also attached.
S 04-16-1874 Jacob Muth started building residence on lot adjoining and on south side of the malt house. S 7/2/1874 - new house nearly ready for occupancy by Muth and wife.
S 04-16-1874 J. N. Benedict bought F. W. Blake residence on the corner of Pine & Jefferson sts. (1876 Directory shows Joel N. Benedict on southwest corner of Pine & Jefferson sts.)
