S 03-11-1893 J. B. Helmuth moved to Benson farm.
S 03-11-1893 Joe Heiligenthal moved from farm in Town of Burlington to farm he recently bought in Town of Lyons.
S 03-11-1893 Mrs. S. P. Green and mother, Mrs. Bundy, moved from Silver Lake to rooms in A. P. Coombs residence on Lewis st.
S 03-11-1893 M. M. McLaughlin and family moved from Silver Lake farm to Burlington; intends to build residence.
S 03-11-1893 A. F. Ransom bought lot on corner of Lewis & Kendall sts. from A. P. Coombs and is planning to build large and modern dwelling.
S 03-25-1893 F. S. Perkins has a frame house for sale.
S 03-25-1893 Mrs. Pratt and Mrs. Wilkes moved from Edgewood Farm to Auburn Park, Ill.
S 03-25-1893 John F. Bankes bought lot on James st. from J. H. Benedict. Bankes also owns adjoining lot to rear and will build a residence.
S 03-25-1893 John Dahlman farm of 240 acres in section 23 for sale.
S 04-01-1893 Henry Rewald razed old brick residence on corner of Chestnut & Kendall sts. which he had occupied with his family for nearly 25 years, and is building a large brick house there.
S 04-01-1893 H. E. Zimmermann and family to move to residence on corner of Lewis & Tower sts. S 4/8/1893 - Zimmermanns settled in new house on Lewis st.
S 04-01-1893 John F. Bankes has let the contract for the erection of his new residence on James street to VandeSand & Salisbury. Work will be commenced on the same at once. Also in S 4/1/32 Years ago. F 4/6/1893 - VandeSand & Salisbury have secured contract for erecting John F. Bankes' new residence on James street, near the water tower. They will start on the same at once.
S 04-01-1893 T. E. Miller, who owns a cottage at Brown's lake, to build a dancing pavilion on his property.
S 04-01-1893 John Tuligowski moved from Dover to farm between Burlington and Rochester.
S 04-01-1893 Charles F. Ball bought residence owned by F. H. Nims on State st. and will move in when Randolph family moves out.
S 04-01-1893 Eugene Hall remodeling residence. Rear part torn away and new part will be built. Main part of house will also be overhauled and remodeled.
S 04-08-1893 Miss Maggie Wilson bought I. Kinzle stone residence on Lewis st., vacated by Zimmermanns. Lot is 2 rods wide and 8 rods deep.
S 04-08-1893 Burlington Land & Investment Co. bought 32 acres from F. S. Perkins immediately in rear of Perkins residence. Land extends from Kane st. to Pine st. facing the Chandler and Meinhardt residences. Streets to be 100 feet wide with 40 foot roadway and 24 foot park and 6 foot sidewalk area on each side.
S 04-15-1893 Chas. F. Ball gave VandeSand & Salisbury contract to build barn 24x36 on property he recently purchased of F. H. Nims. Mr. Ball will also add a kitchen and wood shed to the residence.
S 04-15-1893 Theodore Tenwinkel to move to Lake Geneva with family and return to being carpenter and builder.
S 04-15-1893 Charles Sawyer building new residence on farm south of Burlington.
S 04-15-1893 Henry Habbeckost / Habbecost recently moved to new residence in Burlington from Wm. J. Finke & Co. farm.
S 04-15-1893 H. R. Hall and wife leased rooms in George Norris residence
S 04-22-1893 Henry J. Vos to build new residence, 16 x 30, with 18 foot posts.
S 04-22-1893 VandeSand & Salisbury have added a handsome porch to the residence of Geo. A. Armour. (1897 directory - George Armour at 122 Liberty st.; Mrs. Pettibone was at 219 Liberty st.; Frank Rueter at 118 Liberty st.)
