S 11-05-1892 Fire in china dry kiln at F. J. Buell residence on Washington st. caused damage.
S 11-12-1892 Ben Schultz bought Gustav Zarneke / Zerneke residence on Johnson st.
S 11-12-1892 Gustav Zarneke to build brick residence on lots adjoining house he just sold on Johnson st.
S 11-19-1892 M. Kendall and family moved to hotel on St. Mary's Island, Brown's Lake.
S 11-19-1892 Patrick Warren bought Rogers farm in southeastern part of the town.
S 11-19-1892 T. J. Cunningham offers for rent his residence on Lewis st.
S 11-19-1892 Foley farm said to have been sold to William Leistigo. S 11/26/1892 - Leistigo did buy 160 acre Ellen Foley farm. S 11/26/1892 also contained notice of real estate sale by administrator of Timothy Foley, Sr., estate - land in section 36, town 3, and in section 1, town 2.
S 11-19-1892 Anton Migelis bought 80 acres of the Leistigo farm.
S 11-19-1892 Gerhard Brefeld, of Wheatland, moved to Burlington.
S 11-26-1892 Notice: Sale of real estate of Lorenz Hess estate - lot 2, block 3, in Perkins addition and additional land.
S 11-26-1892 J. B. Helmuth leased Montgomery farm west of Burlington.
S 12-03-1892 G. Zarneke / Zerneke building new residence on Johnson st.
S 12-03-1892 G. C. Rasch's new residence on Conkey st. nearing completion. Parlor has a round bevel plate glass window about 6 feet in diameter which is something new in Burlington. (St. Charles Church was later built on adjoining property. Rasch house moved to Edward st. near Wainwright ave. in 1956 by Harry Bigelow.)
S 12-03-1892 Willie Hammond fell from scaffolding while at work on Diener residence near Fox River bridge; no serious injuries.
S 12-10-1892 Michael McLaughlin leased farm near Slade's Corners to J. Smith and expects to move to Burlington in spring.
S 12-10-1892 Engineer Archibald and family moved to new residence just completed on Chestnut st.
S 12-10-1892 Herman Leopold bought 2 lots in Weiler's addition adjoining John Itzin's property.
S 12-10-1892 Ben Yanny bought Henry White farm of 79 acres in town of Lyons and moved to farm.
S 12-10-1892 Ed. L. Brierly and Minnie Helmuth, married Dec. 6, to occupy Green residence on north side of mill pond.
S 12-17-1892 John A. Rueter bought 10 acres of land from farm of Nicholas Weiler; land is on Lyons rd. (now Hwy. 36).
S 12-17-1892 Mrs. Pratt sold 7 acres of her farm adjoining Burlington to Fried. Schwantz and Carl Volkman. (Edgewood Farm area)
S 12-24-1892 George E. Rosenhauer bought L. Hess residence on Chestnut st.
S 12-31-1892 Miss Mary Shanley bought 2 lots in Weiler's addition.
S 01-07-1893 Andrew Patterson and family will move from Fox River station to Burlington about Feb. 1 and occupy the Whitman residence opposite St. John's Lutheran church parsonage.
S 01-07-1893 Otto Schultz and Emma Rubach, married Dec. 31 at Charles Leber home, to live in residence just completed by Mr. Schultz in Weiler's addition.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.
