S 04-22-1893 William Sotebier advertises 40 acre farm, which includes a stone quarry, 1 mile north of Burlington for sale.
S 12-06-1890 A. Zwiebel's new residence on corner of Washington & Johnson sts. is up and enclosed. Main part is 16 x 28, with 15 x 22 wing facing Washington st., 15 x 20 wing opposite, and summer kitchen at rear.
S 12-06-1890 Frank Mayer bought 23 acres on McHenry st. just this side of St. Paul depot from E. O. Brecke. Will use land for truck garden.
S 12-13-1890 Carl Voss, Jr., bought Henry Scheel house and lot on Main st. on east side of Fox river.
S 12-20-1890 George W. Ball and family sold property in Steele, N. Dak., and moved to Burlington.
1890 George Fratt sold Ashley farm opposite Dyer's Lake and bought 206 acre farm on north road to Spring Prairie. Lived on farm until 1904 and then rented it out and moved to Burlington. Information from "Frat House" booklet in Historical Society files; photos of Spring Prairie farm also in files.
S 01-03-1891 C. E. Miller cottage being built at Brown's Lake.
S 01-03-1891 Summons: Elizabeth, Frank, Wicka, and Joseph Rutter / Rueter vs. Perkins, Lawtons, and Hollisters. Purpose not shown in legal notice, but probably relates to residential property.
F 01-07-1891 Edward Brook and family moved to new residence on corner of Pine & State sts. Also in S 1/3/1891.
S 01-10-1891 Peter Zirbes buying house and lot of George W. Stone on Ogden (Origen?) st. S 3/14/1891 - Zirbes moved to house.
S 01-10-1891 Charles F. Ball and family moved from Racine to Wilbur house near St. Paul depot.
S 01-31-1891 Well drilled for Mrs. M. E. Pratt just outside Burlington (later Edgewood farm).
S 01-31-1891 George McKesson rented Mrs. J. G. Wilson house on Chestnut st.; will move about April 1.

S 02-07-1891 Henry Lois and Frances Kerkhoff, married Feb. 3, bought and will move to William Meisen farm.
S 02-07-1891 Rev. J. G. Oehlert and family arrived in Burlington, occupy St. John's Lutheran parsonage.
S 02-14-1891 John and Henry Hinzpeter bought 340 acre Higenbotham farm in Bloomfield at auction.
S 02-14-1891 Henry Hinzpeter offers farm for rent; in section 21, 5 miles south of Burlington.
S 02-14-1891 Gustave Zarneke offers house and 2-1/2 lots on Johnson st. for sale.
S 02-14-1891 Administrator of William H. Breuckman estate to sell 40 acres in section 21, town of Burlington.
S 02-14-1891 Edward E. Mills and Dolie G. Henderson, married Feb. 10, to live in home on Jefferson st. (Could be Valentine Smith home on west side of Jefferson st. bridge.)

S 02-21-1891 Charles Gartz rented Henry Hinzpeter farm.
S 02-28-1891 A. Vaughn bought William Hubbard property on south side of Burlington.
