F 12-05-1894 Negotiations are about completed for the purchase of a tract of land from Chris. Runzler, situated between the Fox river and the Central railroad, and nearly at the rear of A. Helfrich's property, just south of town, on which the new canning factory will be located. The Central road will put in a new switch for shipping purposes.
S 12-08-1894 Fred Jahnke quit Jung farm and will move to Burlington.
S 12-08-1894 Fred R. Smith and family moved to new residence in Weiler's Addition.
S 12-15-1894 Frank Grass sold 3 lots at Bohner's lake to Frank H. Dickey. Dickey to build ice house and barn and later a cottage.
S 12-15-1894 A. P. Coombs residence is on corner of Lewis & Kendall sts.
S 12-29-1894 John Deubig leased Philip Jung farm for term of years.
S 12-29-1894 Christian Prasch bought lot on Conkey st., adjoining Ben Holmes lot, from Joseph Hoch.
S 12-29-1894 Summons: Schaubs, Young, and Schade vs. Edmund Flagg; purpose not given.
S 01-05-1895 John H. Hoelz bought 3 acres on east side of Fox river from Charles Volkman. Land originally part of McCanna & Fraser farm; reverted to former owners when Hoelz sold land to firm this week.
S 01-05-1895 C. F. Noble offers house and lot on Tower hill - corner of Lewis & James sts. - for sale.
S 01-12-1895 Ben Holmes bought Lewis st. residence from J. E. Bartholf, until recently occupied by H. S. Harris. Holmes traded lot on Conkey st. in part payment. S 1/26/1895 - Holmes and family moved in.
S 01-12-1895 William Mielke hauling stone for new residence he’s building in Perkins Park.
S 01-12-1895 G. E. Holden leased from E. S. Voorhees and moved to part of old Dr. Darling residence.
S 01-19-1895 19 acres adjoining Burlington limits with large brick house, barns and outbuildings for sale.
S 01-19-1895 H. J. Krakofsky moved to Rewald house on Pine st. recently vacated by Thomas Hanson.
S 01-19-1895 Thomas Hanson moved to Zielke / Zelke house on east side of White river.
S 01-19-1895 M. A. Buckland, of McCanna & Fraser Co., moved from New Munster to Burlington.
S 01-26-1895 Residence of Mrs. A. Wilbur (Alzina, widow of Joseph C. Wilbur) was on Pine st. F 1/30/1895 - residence was on State st.
S 01-26-1895 Henry Richter bought 77 acres of Alex McKercher farm in section 2 of town of Burlington.
S 02-02-1895 Ben and Adolf Vos leased father, Joseph's, farm 5 miles south of Burlington and 2 miles north of New Munster. House to be built on farm for Mr. and Mrs. Vos.
S 02-02-1895 Thomas Stevens and wife moved to Wilcox cottage on James st.
S 02-02-1895 Bertha Host, nee Riel, was born in 1848 on Riel, now Jacobson, farm at Bohner's Lake.
S 02-09-1895 Irving (later corrected to Arthur) Anderson leased J. C. Kies property adjoining the village.
S 02-16-1895 Henry Gebeke and family moved to Burlington from Slade's Corners.
S 02-23-1895 A. F. Ransom and family moved to new residence on Tower hill.
