S 10-05-1895 Ten acres of land with large brick house and good barns on main street in village of Burlington offered for sale - actual location not stated in ad.
S 10-05-1895 Choak & Krueger drilling well for Herman Braun in Weiler's addition. Pair has two well drilling outfits at work.
S 10-05-1895 Van Hill leased C. W. Palmer farm 5 miles northwest of Burlington.
S 10-12-1895 Frank Juranek building new residence in Perkins Park.
S 10-12-1895 Mrs. Fred Runkel bought lot from Mrs. H. Hicks and half a lot from C. W. Diener on Kane st. and will build a residence.
S 10-12-1895 William Rothering and Theodore Tenwinkel are each building new homes on Amanda st. Rothering's is on corner of Geneva st.
S 10-12-1895 W. F. Bankes moved to rooms over Chicago store.
S 10-12-1895 W. Brodda leased Dyer st. residence vacated by W. F. Bankes.
S 10-12-1895 W. R. Devor moved to new residence in Perkins Park.

S 10-12-1895 Joe Robers, living on Frank Held farm 5 miles southwest of Burlington and 6 miles southeast of Lyons, to auction personal property on Oct. 17.
S 10-12-1895 Henry Rothering offers new house on Amanda st. near Geneva st., for rent.
S 10-19-1895 H. I. Hawks and family moved to new residence in Perkins Park.
F 10-23-1895 C. A. Jones awarded contract for mason work on his new house to G. Zarneke and the carpenter work to C. L. Graham. It will be one of the finest residences in town, with all the latest improvements and conveniences. S 10/26/1895 - C. A. Jones to erect a new home on Dyer st.
S 10-26-1895 VandeSand & Salisbury are remodeling T. J. Cunningham's Lewis street residence.
S 10-26-1895 Auction at George W. Adams farm - probably largest sale every held in these parts.
S 10-26-1895 James H. Dailey has moved to the Richter house on Conkey st.
S 10-26-1895 Matt. Lenz has moved to the brick residence on Chestnut st. which he bought last spring.
