S 05-04-1895 J. H. Hoelz bought J. Frank Wray's residence property of 4 lots on east side of Fox river bridge.
S 05-11-1895 Melcher property near St. Paul depot, with 6 acres of land, for sale.
S 05-11-1895 A. Miller moved from corner of Washington & Dodge sts. to rooms in Kemptner block over John Itzin's harness shop.
S 05-11-1895 Gus Heublein sold one of the lots he recently bought from John Nehls to A. P. Coombs.
S 05-11-1895 H. I. Hawks bought 2 lots from Francis Bankes in Perkins Park. William Meadows bought half of one of the Hawks lots and an adjoining lot from A. P. Coombs. Both will soon build residences.
S 05-11-1895 Edward Ide and Lizzie Johnson, married May 8, to live in brick residence of L. O. Whitman. (The brick residence could be the former school building on Whitman’s property on Madison st. - the 1840s school building moved to Beloit st. in 1986 by the Burlington Historical Society.)
F 05-15-1895 Theodore Luttermann, Sr., bought lot on Conkey st. from J. E. Bartholf and will build residence. Also in S 5/11/1895. S 6/22/1895 - Plans for new residence.
S 05-18-1895 A. P. Coombs broke ground for new residence. (1897 directory shows Coombs at 406 Lewis st.)
S 05-18-1895 Fred Smith bought half acre of land in Weiler's addition next to land he already owns.
S 05-25-1895 Thomas Hanson, superintendent of Electric Light Co., leased Charles Runzler residence on James st.
S 06-01-1895 A. Bartholf building new residence on Origen st.
S 06-01-1895 Fred McLaughlin building new residence on McHenry st.
S 06-01-1895 Peter Jacobson leased Joseph A. Rueter's new residence and will move in.
S 06-01-1895 Albert Ketterhagen and Minnie Jacobs, married May 29, to live on farm at Brown's Lake that Albert recently bought from his father, John.
S 06-08-1895 Joseph (Mathias?) Lenz bought John Ebert property on Chestnut st. from William Solomon. Lenz to move to house when current occupant, Mr. Harm, vacates.
S 06-08-1895 Albert J. Klingele and Katherine Cunningham, married June 4, to live with Mrs. G. Klingele on Washington st.
S 06-08-1895 A. P. Coombs has barn enclosed and foundation for residence completed.
S 06-08-1895 Charles Zimmer has barn nearly completed in which he will reside until house on Lewis st. is built.
S 06-08-1895 Prasch Bros. bought lot 1 in Uhen's Park, Brown's Lake, from Fred Uhen.
S 06-08-1895 H. I. Hawks awarded contract for building new residence in Perkins Park.
