S 01-11-1896 William F. Brehm and Emma Johnson, married Jan. 8, to live in Brehm residence on Madison st.
S 01-11-1896 Rev. C. E. Blodgett and family occupy part of Dr. Darling residence.
S 01-11-1896 Henry Baumeister bought 80 acre Barney Baumeister farm at executor sale.
S 01-11-1896 Mrs. Elizabeth Gacke, widow of Adolph Gacke, died in Iowa Dec. 25. For long time she lived on farm now owned by William Kasner. Mrs. Henry Eckert of Lyons is step-daughter of Mrs. Gacke.
