S 09-08-1900 Property owners on east side of Kendall st. between Lewis & Chestnut sts. required to build sidewalk at least 4 feet wide of lumber or cement.
S 09-08-1900 William Rosenberg and Goldie Kaufmann, married Sept. 2, at Knuth residence on S. Pine st.
S 09-08-1900 William G. Finke and Margaret Schmitt, married Sept. 5, to live on corner of Dyer & Jefferson sts.
S 09-15-1900 Julia and Bessie Malone leased new residence of A. E. Hatch on Kendall st; will move in when completed; mother will live with them.
F 09-19-1900 Arthur Wilton bought Alonzo Vaughn place near railroad crossing south of Burlington and will raise poultry. Also in S 9/15/1900. F 10/31/1900 - Arthur Weldon died Oct. 23, 1900.
S 09-22-1900 Arthur Hoitsma bought John Schumacher residence on Reynolds ave. Schumacher building residence in Weiler's Addition.
F 09-26-1900 Rev. William Kilburne and family moved to residence on Lewis st. vacated by W. F. Oakley and family. Also in S 9/22/1900. S 9/29/1900 - Swan residence. F 10/3/1900 - Kilburnes now occupying Savan / Swan residence on Lewis st.
S 09-29-1900 Henry Uhen building barn. S 8/11/1900 - 32 x 80 barn on farm 4 miles from Burlington.
F 10-03-1900 C. E. Reed bought 40 acres from Bernard Kaiser on Rochester rd. just north of the Steinhoff farm. Also in S 9/29/1900.
F 10-03-1900 John Jahnke living on Riverside farm (Buell & Foltz) just west of Burlington.
S 10-06-1900 George May and Ida Jacob, married Oct. 2, to live in Ward residence on corner of Kendall & Lewis sts.
F 10-10-1900 Ben Willich and family and Casper Schaidt returned from Nebraska after 17 years and moved to Faitoute house on corner of Dyer & Liberty sts.
F 10-10-1900 Frank Zick moved to Brehm residence at foot of Geneva st.
F 10-10-1900 Peter Meyers and family moved to Racine. House on Dyer st., vacated by them, to be occupied by Peter Jacobson and family. S 10/13/1900 - P. M. Jacobson leased residence.
F 10-10-1900 Mr. & Mrs. William F. Gill to live in Rewald residence opposite the Blanket factory. S 10/13/1900 - To live in one of Rewald residences on Origen st.
F 10-17-1900 Louis Stetter and family moved to Berlin, Wis; Ed Brook bought the Stetter place on Washington st. Also in S 10/13/1900.
F 10-17-1900 Richard Ball moved from Faitoute house to H. Rewald house west of Henry Plate's saloon.
S 10-20-1900 George B. Norton and Delia Kelly, married Oct. 15, to live in Norton residence on Lewis st.
F 10-24-1900 Anton "Tony" Zwiebel, Jr., moved to Brehm residence on State st. vacated by Rev. William Kilburne. S 10/27/1900 - Tony Zwiebel and family returned to Burlington from Rock Valley, Iowa.
S 10-27-1900 Complaint in Perkins heirs' suit filed with court. (Local & State news) Defendants are Burlington Land & Improvement Co., Bernard Ketterhagen, H. I. Hawks, Jacob Steinhoff, Francis Reuschlein, William Meadows and Henry Bollow.
S 10-27-1900 Mrs. Joseph Klein has farm for rent - 180 acres just south of Burlington opposite Bohner's lake. Will have auction of personal property.
S 10-27-1900 Peter Kraemer, on Henry Kies farm on New Munster road just south of Burlington, to have auction.
F 10-31-1900 John Stoehr bought Joseph Althoff farm of 140 acres located south of Lyons. Also in S 10/27/1900.
F 10-31-1900 M. S. Huntington to move to Waukesha; will retain business in Burlington.
S 11-03-1900 Hogan Olson building barn, 36 x 84, with 9 foot basement on farm south of Burlington.
