S 10-12-1876 William Hubbard offers 10 acre estate on McHenry Road, a few rods north of the Burlington Depot for sale - 10-room brick house, small barn, and other convenient outbuildings.
S 10-12-1876 W. J. Bushman near the Depot is putting up new barn on his premises.
S 11-09-1876 Christopher C. Gaylord to sell lots 1 and 4, block 8, Sheldon's Addition, to highest bidder to satisfy judgment vs. Francis W. and Mary E. Blake, et al.
S 11-30-1876 Antony Meinhardt vs. David and Elizabeth Smith: to sell lots 2 and 3, block 15, Perkins West addition, at sheriff's sale.
S 12-14-1876 Joel N. Benedict vs. Francis W. and Mary E. Blake, et al. - blocks 10 and 13, Sheldon's First Addition (Market & McHenry sts. area); and lots 1 and 4, block 48 (SW corner of Jefferson & Pine sts.). S 3/1/1877 - Joel N. Benedict sale adjourned to March 26. S 3/29/1877 - sale postponed to Apr. 9.
S 12-28-1876 H. Thiele sold farm; bought Haas's old furniture store on Pine st.
S 01-25-1877 Robert Norris advertises farm 4 miles from Burlington on Kenosha rd. for sale; 2 houses on farm.
S 02-15-1877 Robert Norris sold Walter Duckett 45 acres of meadow land on Kenosha road.
S 02-15-1877 John Prasch offers 227 acre farm on Geneva rd. for sale in parcels; also 54 acres on Wheatland rd. between the farms of Edmund Berger and Ephraim Sawyer on banks of Fox river.
S 03-01-1877 J. C. Van Rosenberg bought farm of Mr. Moore on borders of Norton Lake. S 3/8/1877 - Von Rosenberg to raise poultry.
S 03-08-1877 Old paint shop of J. Pieters bought by Hendrix Brothers, who had it moved from square in front of Pieters shop to lot where it will be fixed up as a residence (location of lot not mentioned). (House relocation)
S 03-15-1877 John Russell moved back from his country home near Durgin Bridge to his house on corner of Jefferson & Dyer sts.
S 05-03-1877 B. J. Bushman having Mr. Rodering / Rothering put up a new house at the rear of his store near the depot.
S 05-03-1877 Mr. & Mrs. George Smith (Lena Leber) to live at house of her brother, Charles Leber.
S 05-17-1877 Mrs. Tomlinson of Racine bought house on Kane st. built and occupied by Mr. Voorhees.
S 05-24-1877 Patrick H. Cunningham bought lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, block 75 from Johanna Dwyer (Adams st. between Main & Wisconsin sts.).

S 06-14-1877 Mary Toolis / Tulis bought 1-1/2 acres from Edson Crawford and wife. S 7/12/1877 - Tooles.
S 06-14-1877 B. Himebaugh improving house on farm he bought from Joel N. Benedict.
S 06-28-1877 New fence and board sidewalks constructed on corner of Kane & Liberty sts.
S 06-28-1877 J. G. Williams and family rent house belonging to Mrs. Moses Crane.
S 07-12-1877 J. C. Kees bought 10 acres from Mrs. Olive Null.
S 07-12-1877 Lewis Royce bought NW corner of block 13 from Pliny M. Perkins.
S 07-26-1877 C. A. Brownson is building residence on Lewis st. near E. D. Perkins. S 8/2/1877 - Kate D. Brownson bought lots 3 and 6, block 2 (Perkins West Addition), from Edwin D. Perkins and wife.
