S 04-27-1876 The German M.E. parsonage is moving along rapidly.
S 05-04-1876 William B. Rhodes and family moved to Burlington; occupy Dr. Rice estate.
S 05-04-1876 Fred Keuper planting trees on both sides of his property on corner of Pine & Jefferson sts.
S 05-18-1876 O. W. Chandler removed large boulder stones from in front of his residence on Kane st.

S 08-31-1876 Peter Forbes's barn, near shed at Plymouth church, burned to ground. Still no fire engine. S 9/7/1876 - new barn being built on site of burned one.
S 09-21-1876 Dr. Darling's house has outdoor aquarium.
S 09-28-1876 Ferdinand Smith, father of H. F. Smith, bought Mullender estate adjoining Lewis Royce premises (Chestnut st.). Smith intends to rebuild.
S 09-28-1876 New stable of Peter Forbes completed Sept. 18; old one burned Aug. 27.
