S 05-12-1894 Ben H. Rothering and Josie Vos, married May 8, to live in new residence Rothering built on Kendall st. (B. H. Rothering at 212 Amanda st. in 1897 Directory.)
S 05-19-1894 R. G. Fraser bought.Wilbur residence on Geneva st. and 3 lots from Wilbur Lumber Co. Will remodel house and improve property before moving in. S 6/9/1894 - Driveway to Wilbur Lumber Co. through Geneva st. property to be discontinued by R. G. Fraser.
F 05-23-1894 The brick house (owned by John Uhen) formerly occupied by Herman Wald, on the corner of Lewis and Geneva sts., was safely moved last week to a new location farther up Geneva st. (See entry for S 3/16/1894.) (Note: This was house later occupied by the Ray Heck family at 332 Milwaukee ave.) (House relocation)
S 06-02-1894 Sammon residence ready for plasterers.
S 06-02-1894 J. C. Grant building 10 cottages on Brown's lake property to be run in connection with Brown's Lake hotel.
S 06-02-1894 Ralph Zimmermann to move family from Waukesha to Burlington.

S 06-02-1894 Ed. Kinzle and family occupy Lewis st. residence Mr. Kinzle recently bought and remodeled. S 8/4/1894 - Ed Kinzle having new barn built.
S 06-02-1894 A. J. Hannas bought J. Frank Wray farm near Richmond, Ill. Wray took Hannas residence property in partial payment and he and his wife will move to Burlington in October. Hannas is undecided about moving.
S 06-09-1894 H. G. Dardis leased T. W. Durgin residence on Liberty st.
S 06-09-1894 Lohaus estate at New Munster--100 acres but not homestead--sold to Ben Lohaus for $1770.
S 06-09-1894 Mrs. Benedict and daughter took rooms over C. I. Sheldon grocery store.
S 06-09-1894 Joseph Jackson raising residence on Dyer st.
S 06-09-1894 Jacob Gill and family moved back to Burlington from Milwaukee.
S 06-09-1894 J. G. Rose bought of the Wendlin Miller estate the property on Chestnut st. occupied by Wilson and Dietrich. F 6/20/1894 - Rose bought Miller property on Chestnut st. occupied by Mrs. Kate Miller as a Millinery store and Mrs. Dietrich as a residence. The property has a 92 foot front and extends back about 80 feet. Mr. Rose expects to remodel the store building and move his bakery and residence, but will not occupy the property until next fall or spring.
S 06-16-1894 Louis A. Reuschlein leased the brick residence John H. Uhen moved to his lot on Geneva st.
S 06-16-1894 T. J. Cunningham bought adjoining 80 acre "old William McCarthy" farm from Dan McCarthy.
S 06-16-1894 Wilbur residence on Geneva st. being remodeled for R. G. Fraser.
S 06-23-1894 Mrs. Brever building new residence on corner of Liberty & Randolph sts.
