S 03-10-1894 A. D. Coman leased Alonzo Vaughn house in Burlington and will move in.
S 03-10-1894 McCanna & Fraser Co. bought house and lot on corner of Washington & Columbus (Calumet) sts. adjoining box factory.
S 03-10-1894 Theresa Miller and Mrs. Daniel Sammon bought lots on Origen st. between Chestnut & Lewis sts. from Mrs. M. K. Wilson; both expect to build this summer.
S 03-10-1894 Herman Erdly bought lot on Origen st. next to D. C. Stiles from A. P. Coombs; expects to build on lot and move in from Lyons. S 3/17/1894 - Erdly and family moved to Burlington. S 3/24/1894 - Erdly started foundation for new residence.
S 03-10-1894 Mrs. E. Dietrich leased Miller residence between Mrs. Wilson's millinery store and Nic May's residence and moved in. John P. Gill to make home with Mrs. Dietrich.
S 03-10-1894 C. A. Goodwin and family moved to Voorhees residence on Dyer st. vacated by A. McDowell.
S 03-17-1894 John H. Uhen to move, in May, the brick house, now occupied by Herman Wald, on corner of Geneva & Lewis sts. to lot on Geneva st. bought from Ferd Vanderbeck. Uhen will build modern residence on corner for himself. (See F 5/23/1894.) (House relocation)
S 03-17-1894 Melcher house near the St. Paul depot has been leased by A. M. White, who occupies the same.
S 03-17-1894 Mrs. John Callaghan sold farm in section 19, town of Brighton, to Chris. Evans. S 3/24/1894 - Mrs. Callaghan to move to Burlington.
S 03-17-1894 Herman Wald building new residence in Perkins Park.
S 03-17-1894 H. Hicks bought E. C. Benson residence on Lewis st. Benson building new residence on Dr. Hicks property (northwest corner of Pine & Jefferson sts.).
S 03-24-1894 Joseph Forge moved to rooms in Kinzle house recently vacated by M. N. Wien.
S 03-24-1894 William Farley bought lot on corner of Lewis & Origen sts. from A. P. Coombs; will build in near future.
S 03-24-1894 Fred (Ferdinand?) Richter will commence work on the foundation for the Carl Hillman residence on the east side of Fox river next week, and VandeSand & Salisbury will complete the residence as soon as possible this summer. S 4/28/1894 - The frame of Carl Hillmann's new residence is up. VandeSand & Salisbury are the contractors.
S 03-24-1894 Peter L. Cunningham to build new house on farm; contract to VandeSand & Salisbury. Building to be 30 x 46 and have 9 rooms.
S 03-24-1894 Fred Kurzrok bought lot in Perkins North Park from F. S. Perkins.
S 03-24-1894 Charles Zimmer and family moved to T. J. Cunningham house on Lewis st.
S 03-24-1894 John Schumacher and family moved to Milwaukee.
S 03-31-1894 McCanna & Fraser Co. leased Kearney farm adjoining Burlington for another term of years.
S 03-31-1894 H. G. Dardis bought lot in Perkins Park from Andrew Patterson estate; will build residence this summer.
S 03-31-1894 George Duckett of Spring Prairie leased part of Miss Appleyard's residence and will move family in.
S 03-31-1894 Caspar Muegler bought 35 acres from Mrs. Berger. Land is between Wilmot rd. and Fox River and is south of what is known as Berger's creek.
S 03-31-1894 Fred and Nic Smith / Schmidt moved from Zielke / Zelke house on east side of Fox River to Thesdorf house opposite St. John's Lutheran parsonage. William Thesdorf and family moved to house on Kearney farm leased by McCanna & Fraser.
S 04-07-1894 C. B. McCanna bought the T. M. Kearney farm on the east side of the village of Burlington. (Became Edgewood Stock Farm.)
S 04-07-1894 Matt Cunningham, son of Dan, bought 40 acre farm from James Gallagher.
