BG 07-28-1859 J. H. Conkey offers farm, 2 miles from Burlington for sale - 40 acres of prairie.
BG 08-09-1859 E. A. Roby on Plank Road near Brown's Lake.
BG 08-23-1859 Farm and mill site for sale - 390 acres in 2 tracts 1-1/2 miles northwest of Burlington and 60 acres in town of Vienna upon which Sugar and Honey Creeks fork.
BG 02-28-1860 Mr. Winters, a German living near Perkins & Pitkin's Flouring mill, witnessed theft of ham.
BG 06-12-1860 Dr. J. C. Mills, office at Cooper's drug store, residence at Cooper's house.
BG 08-14-1860 Unoccupied dwelling belonging to E. Benson burned; contained rectifying unit.

S 01-18-1865 F. H. and H. W. Trowbridge advertise house and 2 acres 3/4 mile from post office on Geneva rd. and 1/2 mile from the Catholic Church and school.
S 02-22-1865 E. B. Law offers house, 2 lots, and barn for sale.
S 03-01-1865 M. Shaffer / Schaffer advertises house and lot for sale; also lot 3, block 39, in the "Canada" division of Burlington - earliest reference noted as of 8/15/2004 to use of "Canada" in referring to east side of Fox river.
S 04-19-1865 Isaac F. Scott, formerly of Scott & Nims, sold homestead in Burlington and moved to Pardeeville.
S 05-24-1865 M. Shafer / Schafer offers for sale the house and lot he occupies and 2 lots north of the river near residence of James Catton.
