S 12-12-1903 Richard Baxter bequeathed residence on S. Pine st. to Baptist society for parsonage. Also in F 12/9/03.
S 10-04-1902 Devereux property on Kane st. to be auctioned Oct. 15. S 10/11/02 - large ad - 3 residential lots: 1 with barn, 1 with frame house, and 1 with orchard.
F 10-08-1902 Fred Zick bought Albert Zabler residence on east side of Fox river. S 10/4/02 - Zick has lived there for some time.
F 10-08-1902 Attorney L. H. Rohr and family will vacate the Pettibone residence on Liberty street the latter part of the month and will occupy the new residence on the same street just completed by Wm. Kresken. Mrs. H. G. Folts and family will occupy their old home. Also in S 10/11/02. F 10/22/02 - Kresken will move in, not Rohrs.
S 10-11-1902 William Bushnell barn, sheds, etc., burned; caused by spark from malting house fire on other side of Fox river.
S 10-11-1902 Mrs. Drake moved dressmaking rooms to Mrs. Abbott's residence on Dyer st.
S 10-11-1902 Mrs. John Emerich to sell farm of 40 acres, 4-1/2 miles east of Burlington, at Oct. 22 auction.
F 10-15-1902 H. W. Lawton building new residence on Chestnut st. F 10/29/02 - John Cunningham to occupy the house.
F 10-15-1902 Three lots on Kane st., known as the old H. L. Devereaux / Devereux property, to be offered at auction this afternoon. Frame cottage on one lot, octagonal stone barn on another, and orchard on third. Then all three together to be offered. F 10/22/02 - no sale made; lack of bidders.
F 10-15-1902 F. Zwiebel and family moved to Smithers house on Jefferson st. S 10/18/02 - Frank Zwiebel.
F 10-15-1902 T. W. Buell bought 4 lots in Perkins Park - two front on Kane st. and two on Edward st. The two on Kane are nearly opposite the residence of Thomas Bottomley. S 10/18/02 - lots 7, 8, 13, and 14 in block 5, opposite the Devereux property, bought from Burlington Land & Improvement Co.
S 10-18-1902 John Hoffmann leased Fred Martin farm just west of Burlington and will move there. S 10/25/02 - John C. Hoffmann and family moved from Racine to Burlington.
S 10-18-1902 Waterford parties bought lots 2 and 3 in block 7, Perkins Park, from Burlington Land & Improvement Co.
S 10-18-1902 Chris. Reinbold, who rented out his farm at Kansasville, rented Mrs. Bertha Erdman residence on east side of Fox river. S 11/22/02 - Reinbold moved to Erdmann residence.
S 10-18-1902 W. R. Devor bought lot adjoining residence on Kane st. from Mrs. H. E. Sheldon. F 10/22/02 - Mrs. C. I. Sheldon sold lot on Kane st. to W. R. Devor.
F 10-22-1902 The Misses Briody sold residence on Randolph st. to Albert Meyer. Also in S 10/25/02.
F 10-22-1902 Henry Klug bought 40 acres south of the Milwaukee depot from Joseph Hoch. Will build residence, barn, etc. S 10/18/02 - Andrew Krug, just south of depot.
F 10-22-1902 J. M. Christien building a residence in Perkins North Park. Also in S 10/25/02.
F 10-22-1902 Wallers moved to Mrs. A. P. Coombs residence on Lewis st. S 10/25/02 - George Waller and mother.
S 10-25-1902 Mrs. Martin and daughter Gertie moved to Nims residence on Washington st.
S 10-25-1902 Andrew Eisenbart moved from Racine to Ayers residence opposite the mill.
S 10-25-1902 Mr. & Mrs. William Forge to live in rooms over Joseph Yanny's store on Hillside.
F 10-29-1902 Edward Brook / Brooks sold house on Washington st., west of Dave Gaffney's livery barn, to Albert Zabler. S 11/1/02 - Louis Stetter residence.
F 10-29-1902 W. M. Moore sold 85 acres of his farm at Brown's Lake, all west of the road, to Henry Oldenburg. S 11/2/02 - Moore retains land east of road and 4-1/2 acres on west side. Also in F 11/12/02.
S 11-01-1902 Ed. Pendergast, who sold his Burlington oil business, to move family to Springfield.
