S 06-23-1906 Mr. & Mrs. Vernard Smith to live in the Finke residence on the corner of Dyer & Jefferson sts.
S 06-23-1906 Dr. R. L. Crawford and family moved to rooms over McCarthy & Strassen furniture store.
S 06-23-1906 Louis Kornhoff, who bought the McKercher farm some time ago, building 32 x 72 foot barn.
S 06-23-1906 Henry Ebbers, Jr., bought Wambold property on N. Chestnut st. Frontage of 10 rods on Chestnut st. and 8 rods deep; Wambold residence in middle of property with room for a residence on either side.
F 06-27-1906 Fire in barn belonging to Mrs. H. Rewald at rear of residence on corner of Chestnut & Kendall sts. occupied by Dr. H. H. Newbury. Also in S 6/30/06.

F 07-04-1906 Excavations begun for new residence for J. A. Zwiebel on corner of Washington & Dyer sts.
F 07-04-1906 Mr. Craig (Cragg) and family to occupy the Wilson residence on the corner of Chestnut & Origen sts. Mrs. DeLaplain had been living there.
S 07-07-1906 Engineer Hurtgen, who heads construction work on electric railroad, moved family to Schmitt residence on corner of Washington & Dyer sts.
S 07-07-1906 George Mutter, who took possession of Hoelz saloon, and family moved to Bushman cottage on Johnson st.

S 07-28-1906 Dr. George R. Frey and wife to occupy new residence being built on Jefferson st. by E. C. Benson.
