S 04-21-1906 Jacob Brehm advertises house for rent.
S 04-21-1906 Residence on corner of James st. & Storle ave. for rent. Inquire at Frook's restaurant. (Could be Buttles house Mrs. Colby bought in March.)
S 04-21-1906 Mrs. Emily Allen lived on Liberty st. at time of death.
S 04-28-1906 W. J. Knight of Chicago leased M. P. Petrie log cabin at Brown's lake for summer.
S 04-28-1906 Cement retaining wall built on south and east sides of Edwin Caldwell's residence property.
S 04-28-1906 H. W. Lawton building barn on lot in rear of his residence in which to house his automobile. (First mention of structure - a garage - being built in Burlington for housing automobile.)
F 05-02-1906 Theodore Greuter / Grueter, who recently moved here from Waterford, bought 15 acres of the Curtis estate at Brown's lake and is building a house. He will start a poultry farm.
S 05-05-1906 Andrew Eisenbart and family moved to O'Leary residence on Conkey st.
S 05-05-1906 L. Pierce rented Brehm residence on Liberty st. vacated by Andrew Eisenbart and family.
S 05-05-1906 Jos. Yanny bought house and 3 lots on McHenry street from George Weinzinger.

S 05-12-1906 Louis F. Wanasek and family moved to Mrs. Colby residence on corner of James st. & Storle ave.
S 05-12-1906 Joe Rittmann and family moved to W. H. Aldrich residence on Lewis st.
S 05-12-1906 Mrs. Kummers to occupy flat in Keuper block vacated by Joe Rittmann and family.

F 05-16-1906 Old Faitoute property on corner of Dyer & Liberty sts. has undergone a wonderful transformation. Dyer st. straightened to make it nearly in line with Kane. The new Schmitt (Schmidt) residence and grounds, etc., have effected a change for the better.
F 05-16-1906 Barn on Washington st. in rear of Plymouth Church sold by Rev. T. Jacobs to M. P. Petrie who has moved it to Brown's Lake and will convert it into a summer cottage.
S 05-19-1906 Theodore Lightfield bought W. Watson farm of 120 acres, formerly owned by L. O. Webber, on Spring Prairie.
S 05-19-1906 Frame up and enclosed for Frank Griebel's new farm residence.
