S 10-13-1906 Mrs. S. T. Wilson and family moved from farm in Dover to their residence on corner of Reynolds ave. & Kendall st., formerly the Boschert residence.
S 10-20-1906 Miss Buttles building a residence opposite the D. R. Buttles residence on Amanda st.
S 10-20-1906 John Peterson and family moved to Fred McLaughlin residence on Jefferson st.
S 10-20-1906 P. O. Briody bought acre on Tower hill from Dr. C. J. Swan. Also bought 2 lots in Weiler's addition adjoining Swan tract from John H. Uhen. Briody planning to lay road through these lots and the acre tract to connect Tower st. with one of the streets in Briody's addition.
S 10-20-1906 Andrew Jacobs and family moved to Gustave Hohs (Haas?) residence on Pine st.
S 10-20-1906 Joseph Eckert bought John Brooks residence property on Randolph st.
S 10-20-1906 Arthur Albright and Annie Corbett, married Oct. 17, to live in Whitman cottage on Madison st.
S 10-20-1906 Ben Siehoff bought Mrs. Lillie McDonald Merrill residence on S. Pine st. To move to city in a year.
F 10-24-1906 Charles F. Noble is building a residence on Lewis st.

S 10-27-1906 Frank Gill and wife moved to the Joseph Zwiebel residence on the corner of Washington & Dyer sts.
S 10-27-1906 Mary Siehoff farm - the old Hidding farm at Brown's Lake - bought by Chicago parties for ice business. Some land to be bought from Zach Ketterhagen farm, and outlet to railroad to be secured through Fred Prott farm. S 12/15/06 - Reported sale of Hidding farm was a mistake. Mrs. Mary Siehoff again advertises farm for sale.
S 10-27-1906 2 story residence and lot south of St. Mary's Catholic school, known as the Robers property, to be sold at auction Nov. 2 by Rev. T. Jacobs. S 11/3/06 - Rev. Jacobs bid and retained property.
S 10-27-1906 Joseph Lohaus and Rosa Kortendick, married Oct. 23, to live in Cunningham residence on Lewis st.
S 11-03-1906 F. J. Buell sold the old Riel home on Liberty & Kane sts. to Henry Siehoff. Siehoff contemplates building one or two more houses on the property.
S 11-03-1906 Edwin Caldwell bought 4 acres from Zacharias Ketterhagen, including 1000 feet of lake front, at Brown's Lake; to be platted.
S 11-03-1906 John Robers offers for sale 260 acre farm 3 miles southwest of Burlington, part in Town of Lyons and part in Town of Burlington, near Spring Valley creamery.

S 11-10-1906 E. J. O'Leary house near high school (Conkey st.) sold to Frank Schultz; possession next spring.
S 11-10-1906 Rudolph Strohm and Minnie Volkmann, married Nov. 7, to live in residence groom recently bought on east side of Fox river.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.
