S 05-02-1908 Joseph Jacobs began excavation for residence he will build in Perkins Park.
S 05-02-1908 John Luke and B. Rossmiller have foundations built for residences they're building in Perkins Park.
S 05-02-1908 J. Marquis building new residence in Perkins Park; frame up and enclosed.
S 05-02-1908 Charles Stubley bought 2 lots on N. Chestnut st. from William Stoel and will build residence.
S 05-02-1908 Fred McLaughlin advertises 10 room residence on corner of Jefferson & West sts. for rent.
F 05-06-1908 H. A. Runkel bought between 4 and 5 acres from Mrs. E. Meinhardt. Land is between Kane & Randolph sts. and south of Johnson's addition. S 5/9/08 - Land will be laid out in lots.
S 05-09-1908 Ernest Foltz offers for sale 2 room 1-1/2 story cottage adjoining home (indicated it would have to be moved elsewhere).
S 05-09-1908 Bert Newbury bought lot on Duane st. from Mrs. E. Meinhardt and will build residence.
S 05-09-1908 W. J. Knight of Chicago leased Cunningham cottage at Brown's lake for summer.

S 05-09-1908 Henry Weygand, Sr., bought lot on Kane st. from F. J. Buell and will build residence.

S 05-09-1908 G. H. Haskell and family of Chicago rented Dr. F. E. Stone cottage at Brown's lake for summer.

S 05-09-1908 W. G. Rasch to build bungalow on lot he bought from William Hockings at Brown's lake.
F 05-13-1908 L. H. Rohr let contract for a new residence on Kane st. - the outside will be plastered. Also in S 5/16/08. F 11/25/08 - L. H. Rohr and family moved to new house on Kane st.
S 05-16-1908 E. L. Grover, Basket factory manager, leased Jacobs residence recently bought by A. E. Gooder.
S 05-16-1908 Henry A. Rueter bought lot 6, block 7, Perkins Park, from C. B. McCanna; will build a residence.
S 05-16-1908 A. E. Gooder bought residence on Perkins blvd. from John Terhorst. Also in F 5/20/08.
S 05-16-1908 John Terhorst bought lot about 2 blocks south of place on Perkins blvd. he sold to A. E. Gooder.
