S 02-22-1908 Albert David, on Mrs. Voelkering place for several years, rented and moved to F. G. Klein farm in town of Lyons.
F 02-26-1908 H. Rohr, Chicago, built house on part of Leinendecker / Leiendecker property at Brown's Lake. S 2/22/08 - Rohr and family to make home at Brown's lake.
S 02-29-1908 P. J. Huertgen / Hurtgen started renumbering of houses and lots using the "Philadelphia system" which includes number for every 20 feet.
S 02-29-1908 E. R. Verstrate leased M. P. Petrie residence on Washington st. and will move family in. S 1/9/09 - Mrs. E. Verstraete ad shows 526 Washington st.
S 02-29-1908 Nic Olson took possession of Mrs. Amelia Cook farm.
S 02-29-1908 Mrs. Amelia Cook and daughter moved to rooms in Abbott residence on Dyer st.
S 02-29-1908 More houses needed Burlington - employees of Verstrate-Fyfe and new basket company will have trouble finding housing. S 3/7/08 - about 25 houses to be built this year.
F 03-04-1908 Theodore Karges to move to new residence in Perkins Park.
F 03-04-1908 Jacob Wien family moved to new residence at 605 Geneva street. Also in S 3/7/08. (In May 1993, house was occupied by an insurance agency.) (Wien's store was at 690 Pine st.)

S 03-07-1908 9 room house for sale, 7 blocks south of post office and 2 blocks from Brass Works, on corner lot with 114 foot front and 132 feet deep.
S 03-07-1908 Mary Linnemann opened dressmaking rooms in Miss A. Sheuermann residence on Washington st.
S 03-07-1908 E. C. Skogen bought 139 acre farm 2-1/2 miles southeast of Burlington (old Daniel Warren farm) from Schwaller Land Co.
F 03-11-1908 Al Reuschlein and family moved to new residence on N. Chestnut st. S 3/14/08 - corner of Chestnut & Kendall sts.
S 03-14-1908 Louis H. Rohr will build a modern residence on his property on Kane st. and has started tearing down old buildings on the place.
S 03-14-1908 Hugh Agner has plans drawn for a new residence for his lot on Tower hill.
S 03-14-1908 Henry Weygand bought father's residence property on east side of Fox river; will tear down the old stone house and prepare the land for a new residence.
S 03-14-1908 Henry Heck advertises 10 lots of plowed land for rent for season on shares.
S 03-14-1908 J. T. Groff, Jr., and family moved to Milwaukee.
