S 10-10-1908 G. Hintz and family moved from Noble residence on Lewis st. to Milwaukee.
S 10-10-1908 Michael McLaughlin bought residence property on corner of Edward & Robert sts. from George F. Jones; deeded it to daughter, Mrs. Bradford, who will move in at once. 2nd mention said Mrs. S. Bradford bought property (Samantha Bradford, nee McLaughlin).
S 10-10-1908 George F. Jones and Mrs. Elizabeth Ward, married Oct. 8, to live on Kendall st.
S 10-10-1908 Mrs. L. S. Pierce and son, Elliott, moved to Kansas where husband is employed.
S 10-10-1908 Council ordered sidewalks built within 10 days on several properties on Lewis, North, Dodge, and Chestnut sts., Wilmot ave., and McLaughlin's corner of Jefferson & West sts. S 10/17/08 - on Lewis st., Jay Rooker put in cement sidewalk; John Nehls and George W. Waller put in board walks.
F 10-14-1908 Walter Riel and family moved to the Dan Cadwell residence on Perkins blvd. Also in S 10/17/08.
F 10-14-1908 Louis Wanasek moved to house on Ben Meyer farm on east side of Fox river. John Busch moved to house vacated by Wanasek on West street. (Wanasek mentioned in F 9/29/08 and 12/16/08)
F 10-14-1908 Property known as Carl Valleth residence on McHenry street was sold to Frank Amann, Jr., consideration $1,850. (1910 census showed Frank and Laura Amann at 357 Mc Henry st.)
S 10-17-1908 Col. J. G. Wilson bought 10 acres of meadow land sold by Peter Klein, Sr., at auction. Joins Amend and Cook farms in town of Lyons.
S 10-17-1908 G. C. Zabler moved to residence on east side of Fox river bought from Charles Beller.
