F 08-31-1910 Mrs. & Miss Waller entertained a number of Rochester friends yesterday at their home on Lewis st.
F 08-31-1910 Mr. Brandt of Waukegan moved to Herman Schulz residence at 655 Kendall st.
S 09-02-1910 Wm. Soetebier completed foundation for new residence on Chestnut st.; barn has been completed. F 8/17/10 - next to Ed Barry's. F 9/14/10 - E. L. Anderson has contract for carpenter work on Soetebier’s new residence. S 9/23/10 - E. L. Anderson has frame up and enclosed on Soetebier house.
S 09-02-1910 Orville McLaughlin opened grocery store in new building on his property on McHenry st.
S 09-02-1910 Joseph Jacobs has frame up and enclosed for new residence on Henry st.
S 09-02-1910 Mrs. William Koeneman opened boarding house at 541 State st., formerly occupied by Mrs. L. Kennedy. Also in F 8/31/10.
S 09-02-1910 Charles E. Oestmann and Charles M. Petrie bought parcels on east shore, or old bathing beach, of Brown's lake from Mrs. Dr. F. E. Stone; each plans to build a summer residence.
S 09-09-1910 Seth W. Fratt bought lot 11, block 7, Perkins Park, from Mrs. Henrietta Fratt.
S 09-09-1910 George Brefeld bought lot on corner of Chestnut and Origen sts. from Christian Rasch; Brefeld to build a residence. Also in F 9/7/10.
S 09-09-1910 George Armour bought from Christian Rasch a lot facing Origen st. which is to the rear of the lot bought by George Brefeld on the corner of Chestnut & Origen sts. Also in F 9/14/10 - Armour intends to build new residence.
S 09-09-1910 William Longmore bought old Weiler farm - 62 acres just west of Burlington - from Louis Koller. S 12/2/10 - Mr. & Mrs. William Longmore reside on old Weiler farm just west of Burlington.
S 09-09-1910 N. P. "Pete" Nelson and family of Wheatland moved to rooms over Adolph Richter's store.
S 09-09-1910 C. H. Hand moved from Lyons to Jackson residence on Dyer st.
S 09-09-1910 Joseph P. Schiefen and family moved from Lake Geneva to Dyer st. residence vacated by C. H. Hand.
S 09-09-1910 A. Novak advertises 8 lots on Storle ave. for sale.
F 09-14-1910 Mrs. Ellen Mathews sold lot fronting on Conkey st. to Mrs. Josephine David; Mrs. Mathews to build on corner lot.
S 09-16-1910 Mrs. Frank J. Prasch moving into cottage on property facing Reynolds st; offers Lewis street residence for rent. Also in F 9/21/10.
S 09-16-1910 Joe Reuschlein purchased Peter Zirbes residence on Origen st.; putting in bath, electricity, gas and steam heat.
S 09-16-1910 Otto Koch is building a residence on Herman st. lot he recently bought. F 10/12/10 - frame work nearly up. S 10/21/10 - carpenters putting up and enclosing new house of Otto Koch on Herman st.
S 09-16-1910 Ben David will erect a residence on 4 x 8 rod lot facing Conkey st. bought from Mrs. Ellen Mathews. F 9/28/10 - David started building new residence. S 10/7/10 - masons at work. S 10/21/10 - carpenters putting up and enclosing new house of Ben David on Conkey st.
S 09-16-1910 Mrs. Ellen Mathews to build cottage on corner of Lewis and Conkey sts. S 10/21/10 - to start foundation. Also in F 10/26/10.
S 09-16-1910 John M. Grueter and Clementina Kasner, married Sept. 14, to live in residence on Chestnut st. that Grueter recently bought from William Soetebier.
S 09-16-1910 Sidewalk being put in on Mrs. A. G. Melcher property on east side of McHenry st.
F 09-21-1910 Mrs. Frank J. Prasch offers residence on Lewis st. for rent; moved to new residence on Reynolds ave. S 9/23/10 - house at 613 Lewis st. for rent. F 11/16/10 - Ervin J. Van Brunt / VanBrunt, new operator of the Milwaukee depot, and family moved to Mrs. Frank J. Prasch's house. S 11/18/10 - Van Brunt moved family from Darlington to Mrs. F. J. Prasch residence on Lewis st.
