F 12-20-1917 Hugo Thiede and Louise Smith, married Dec. 12, to live on Thiede farm a few miles south of Burlington.
F 12-27-1917 Herman Uhlenhake has been tenant on Joe Uhen farm southeast of Burlington; Uhen to move there when Uhlenhake vacates.
S 12-28-1917 Theodore W. Rounds and family to move to their home on Geneva st. F 1/3/18 - Theodore W. Rounds and family moved back to their residence on Geneva st.
S 12-28-1917 Mr. & Mrs. Louis Wolf moved to new home in Prasch subdivision. Also in F 12/27/17.
S 12-28-1917 Chris Oldenburg / Oldenberg bought from Charles J. Smith the residence property on the corner of Madison & Wisconsin sts., occupied by Ed Corbeil and family. Also in F 1/3/18.
S 12-28-1917 Gus E. Braeger sold 113 acre farm in town of Burlington to Herman Uhlenhake; possession Mar. 1. F 12/27/17 - farm 5 miles east of Burlington. S 3/8/18 - Herman Uhlenhake moved to farm bought from Gus Braeger east of Burlington.
F 01-03-1918 Charles J. Leber, Sr., lived at 607 N. Pine st.
F 01-03-1918 George Henry leased Noble residence on Reynolds ave.
F 01-03-1918 Geheb flat over Cook & Willich meat market for rent.
F 01-03-1918 Louis Hintz building new flat building on Perkins blvd.; will live in lower flat and rent out upper flat.
F 01-03-1918 Ben Schultz and daughter and Mr. & Mrs. Ray Eppers moved to flat over saloon Schultz bought on Geneva st.
S 01-04-1918 Henry Moat and family occupy the Schwaller residence on corner of Geneva & Johnson sts.
S 01-11-1918 Louis Nagel bought August Raduenz residence on corner of Main & State sts. and moved in. Also in F 1/17/18 - Raduenz bought and will move to farm he formerly owned at Slade's Corners.
F 01-17-1918 Joseph Brehm and Mary Linneman, married Jan. 10, to live in William F. Rothering residence on Geneva st. which groom has rented. S 1/25/18 - Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Brehm moved to Rothering residence on Geneva st. recently vacated by Dr. E. B. Guild and family.
F 01-17-1918 Louis Lightfield, who was working on Albert Karcher farm, moved back to Burlington.
F 01-17-1918 Earl Evans moved family from Kuemmel residence on McHenry st. to East Troy.
F 01-17-1918 Joseph Uhen advertises 60 acre farm southwest of Burlington on Kenosha rd. for rent.
F 01-24-1918 Otto Buckau family, living near water tower, quarantined for small pox.
S 01-25-1918 Otto B. Zwiebel bought residence on Washington st., occupied by W. S. Keebler, from his father, Joseph A. Zwiebel. (F 1/17/18 - occupied by W. F. Keebler.
F 01-31-1918 W. H. Aldrich and family to move from Spring Prairie farm to their residence on Lewis st. occupied by Charles Brenton.
F 01-31-1918 Charles Brenton rented house of Mrs. Cora McLaughlin on McHenry st.
F 01-31-1918 Otis Vaughn advertises 200 acre farm 6 miles west of Burlington for rent.
S 02-01-1918 Michael F. Collings bought lot 10, block 2, in Perkins South Park. Also in F 2/7/18.
S 02-01-1918 Thomas Martin bought Mrs. N. J. (Jane) Wicks residence on Edward st.; possession Mar. 1. Also in F 1/24/18 (2). F 2/21/18, F 2/28/18 (2) and S 2/22/18 - Mrs. Wicks moved to Salem. (1914 Directory showed Mrs. Wicks at 387 Edward st.)
F 02-14-1918 William J. Elderbrook and Lillie Warren, married Feb. 12, to live on Mrs. Charles Eckert farm, which groom has rented.
