S 10-13-1916 William Bohnsack and Alma Reineman, married Oct. 11, to live in Rein flat on Pine st.
S 10-13-1916 Roy Teut and Margaret Clausen, married Oct. 11, living in Mrs. Martha Leach residence at 391 Perkins blvd.
S 10-20-1916 Louis A. Wolf sold residence on Orchard st. to F. Granzow; bought lot on corner of Orchard & Maple sts. from Roy Hollenbeck and will build a new home. Also in F 10/18/16 and F 10/25/16.
S 10-20-1916 Fred Blackburn bought house and two lots on Orchard st. in Prasch Addition from Burlington Investment Co. House is occupied by Adam Prasch. Also in F 10/18/16.
S 10-20-1916 Carl T. Schmidt bought property on the corner of Main & Madison sts. from guardian of August, Henry, and Laura Lasco. Also in F 10/25/16.
S 10-20-1916 Theo. Grueter bought Joe Ranker farm of 100 acres 4 miles south of Burlington and will take possession March 1. R. H. Olmstead bought the Grueter farm of 15 acres on Brown's Lake, with possession March 1. Also in F 10/18/16. S 1/12/17 - Olmstead adding improvements. S 3/16/17 - Ernest Vos bought the Olmstead property.
S 10-20-1916 William Koldway / Koldeway to have auction at Arndt farm 6 miles south of Burlington and 3 miles north of New Munster. S 11/3/16 - William Kolaway again leased farm on New Munster road; auction called off.
S 11-03-1916 Mrs. Sarah Perkins bought 85 x 128 feet off west end of lots 1 and 2 of Perkins North Park at partition sale of Frederick Stanton Perkins estate. Also in F 11/1/16.
S 10-20-1916 F. A. Loetz and wife leased Lawton residence on Pine st. occupied by Ed. C. Lichte, who will move to Milwaukee.
S 10-20-1916 Isa and Carrie McKercher moved to new home on Kane st.
S 10-20-1916 Alex Cook building new residence on Kendall st.; William F. Rothering, contractor.
S 10-20-1916 Will Hudson and family moved to Erdly residence on Perkins blvd.
S 10-20-1916 Henry Rossmiller and family moved to Liberty st. residence vacated by Will Hudson.

S 10-27-1916 Henry J. Kortendick and family to occupy their home on Lewis st. next March.
S 10-27-1916 Mrs. Helen Berger Robbins lived in Berger homestead south of Burlington from a few years after her marriage until her death on Oct. 24, 1916.
S 10-27-1916 Mrs. O. McLaughlin, 526 Madison st., across from McCanna residence, advertises for boarders by day or week.
S 10-27-1916 Roy Johnson, of Dover, bought Charles Merrick farm of 100 acres, formerly known as the George Hoyt place, west of Burlington on Honey Creek road; possession March 1. Mrs. Johnson will return to house she was born in when her grandfather, William Kilpatrick, Sr., lived there.
S 11-03-1916 George Frey and Catherine Jung, married Oct. 30, to live at 607 Dyer st.
S 11-03-1916 New tenant house built on J. C. Wilson farm west of Burlington.
S 11-03-1916 George McDonald farm of 95 acres, 3 miles west of Burlington, for sale.
S 11-10-1916 Mr. & Mrs. John Angsten moved to new home on Kendall st.
