S 07-06-1917 Mr. & Mrs. Alex Cook occupy new home on Kendall st.
F 07-12-1917 Gustave and Frank Heublein vs. Pauline Kyburz, Emma Beatty, Minnie Zechel, and William Nehls for partition sale of lot 9 and other land in block 12, Perkins West addition (Lewis st.).
F 07-12-1917 Max Schlichting, employed at Edgewood Farm the past year, moved to Milwaukee.
F 07-12-1917 E. H. Merrick and family moved from Seth Fratt house on Henry st. to Pleasant Prairie.
F 07-12-1917 Perry O. Peterson moved to Seth Fratt residence on Henry st. vacated by E. H. Merrick.
F 07-12-1917 Cellar excavated for Louis Wolf's new residence (corner of Maple & Orchard sts.).
S 07-20-1917 John Wiemer moved to new home on Geneva st. Also in F 7/26/17.
S 07-20-1917 Charles A. Sloan and family leased Smithers residence on corner of Chandler & Perkins blvds. Also in F 7/26/17 - Sloan was superintendent of post office construction; to move in when Wegwart family vacates.
S 07-27-1917 Robert Wiesenthal barn, just west of the city limits on Geneva rd., struck by lightning and destroyed by fire on July 22; house also struck, with only minor damage. Also in F 7/26/17.
S 07-27-1917 Mrs. Charles Dyer Norton and daughter, Lucia, arrived to put finishing touches on the Perkins house. F 7/26/17 - Charles D. Norton and family occupying their summer home on State st. opposite Lincoln school. S 8/3/17 - Mrs. Norton and daughter returned to their summer home in Maine.
F 08-02-1917 Mr. Kampp bought the Jacobsen cottage at Brown's lake this spring.
F 08-02-1917 M. N. May and family moved to Bushman residence on corner of Jefferson & Johnson sts.
S 08-03-1917 Harry K. Harlow bought lot on Geneva st. in Elmhurst addition; to build next spring. F 7/26/17 - Harlow bought lot 7 from Mrs. Mary Sheahan.
S 08-03-1917 Ed. Bennett bought Dr. F. M. Kyburz's residence on Dyer st. Also in F 8/9/17. S 8/10/17 - Bennett will tear down the old house and build a new one. F 8/30/17 - Bennett having house razed.
S 08-09-1917 Newton Bottomley to do electrical repair work at home at 647 Highland ave.
S 08-09-1817 Ed. Perkins rented residence of Mrs. Julia McCarthy on corner of Liberty & Johnson sts. and will move there.
S 08-09-1917 C. H. Zimmermann, day conductor on TMERL, moved family to Burlington.
S 08-10-1917 Brehm Bros. advertise residence property at 541 State st. for sale; 8 room house. F 8/16/17 - Theodore Linneman bought 541 State st.
S 08-10-1917 Brehm Bros. advertise residence property at 533 Madison st. for sale; 2 story, 7 room house. James Brennan bought 533 Madison st.
S 08-16-1917 R. C. Carpenter and family moved to Kortendick residence on Lewis st.
S 08-16-1917 W. H. Frey and family moved to Owen, Wis.
F 08-16-1917 78 acres 3-1/2 miles east of Burlington on Racine rd., known as Pierce Murphy farm, for sale; apply to Frank Warren.
