F 06-19-1919 Mr. & Mrs. Joe Cook living on Cook farm west of Burlington.
F 06-19-1919 Wallace Drummond, Honey Creek, to occupy Wehmhoff cottage at Brown's lake for season.
F 06-26-1919 John Cunningham bought the A. C. Schmidt property at 571 Dyer st.; possession Aug. 1. Also in S 6/27/19 - corner of Dyer & Liberty sts. S 8/1/19 and F 8/7/19 - John Cunningham and family moved to Schmitt house on corner of Liberty & Dyer sts.
F 06-26-1919 Herman Schmitt, one door south of Brass Works, offers cabbage and brussels sprouts plants for sale.
F 06-26-1918 Fred Jacobs moved family from Burlington to Racine where he has been working.
F 06-26-1919 Cunningham Bros. building large new barn on their farm at Brown's lake.
F 06-26-1919 Mr. & Mrs. George Loehner expect to move from Milwaukee to Burlington. Mrs. Loehner is daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Henry Habbecost / Habecost. F 7/10/19 - Mr. & Mrs. George Loehner and family moved to Schwaller residence on corner of Geneva & Johnson sts.
S 06-27-1919 A. C. Schmitt bought lot from F. A. Schwaller on Liberty st. and will build a residence on the same. Also in F 7/3/19. F 7/3/19 and S 7/11/19 - Schmitt awarded contract for new bungalow. S 8/1/19 and F 8/7/19 - A. C. Schmitt and family moved to Liberty st. residence occupied by his father, Christian, until their new residence on Liberty st. is completed.
S 06-27-1919 John T. Prasch sold residence on corner of Edward st. & Chandler blvd. to E. G. McCormack. Possession July 15. Also in F 6/26/19. F 7/17/19 - McCormack and family to move in. S 7/18/19 - moved in.
S 06-27-1919 Hugo Fishman bought 171 acre farm west of Burlington, known as Benson farm on Spring Prairie road, from Martin Prailes. Also in F 6/26/19 (2) - 171 acre farm in town of Spring Prairie.
S 06-27-1919 Joseph Yanny bought Moses Sharland / Scharland property on corner of Geneva & Conkey sts. and leased same to Anthony / Anson Olmstead. Also in F 6/19/19.
F 07-03-1919 E. Edwards to be instructed to have eaves trough placed on his property along Madison & West sts.
F 07-03-1919 William Meadows offers 6 room cottage on Rochester rd. a block from White River bridge for rent.
F 07-03-1919 Henry R. Weygand and Ruth L. Winston, married June 26, to occupy portion of his parents' house at 526 Madison st. to be vacated by Walter Uebele.
F 07-03-1919 John Bauman and family moved from Burlington to Delavan where he has job in bakery.
F 07-03-1919 L. A. Abbott and family occupying summer home at Brown's lake.
F 07-03-1919 Ben Schultz moved from Burlington to Larsen, Wis., where he bought farm.
F 07-03-1919 J. Fair at 846 Market st. - ad for lost pocket book.
S 07-04-1919 Anton Wisnefski, Jr., bought farm on Brown's lake road from Henry L. Scheel. F 7/3/19 - 20 acre farm; possession in fall.
F 07-10-1919 Mr. & Mrs. Olaf K. Olson lived on Albert Karcher farm south of Burlington for 8 years.
F 07-10-1919 Mrs. Fredericka Zarneke living at 600 Johnson st.
F 07-10-1919 H. H. Colburn built new cottage on south shore at Brown's lake.
F 07-10-1919 John T. Prasch rented Mrs. Joseph Uhen residence on Perkins blvd. and will move there. F 7/17/19 - moved.
S 07-11-1919 John Alby bought Mrs. Annie Konst's brick flat building on corner of Amanda & Conkey sts. as an investment. He plans to remodel the barn on the property into a house. F 7/10/19 - Mrs. Herman Konst.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.

Whitman School is open by appointment or for special events.
