S 08-27-1948 John Moore bought and will occupy Ferd Robers farm on Spring Prairie rd. north of Burlington occupied by George Frey family.
S 08-27-1948 Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Stowell moved from farm on Spring Prairie rd. to make home with Mrs. Stowell’s mother, Mrs. Jay Rooker on Lewis st.; sons Robert and David Stowell will run farm.

F 09-02-1948 Old Leber house moved from Chestnut st. to Wilmot ave. House was moved so Clarence Black could build new building for upholstering business. Frank Browning bought house. House was owned in 1856 by A. Baxter. A Reverend lived there, and house was known as a "wedding house." Also, Henningfield family and Lebers lived there. Also in S 8/27/48 - moved to Wilmot ave. opposite Brass Works; belongs to Frank Browning. (House relocation)
S 09-03-1948 Mr. & Mrs. Nic Skaros and Susan Skaros occupying residence at Cedar Park vacated by George W. Jacobson and family; Jacobson family moved to Dr. J. F. Bennett farm.
S 09-10-1948 Ed Klemm bought lot on corner of Lewis & James st. from Carl Stenlund and will build residence.
S 09-10-1948 Mrs. Ed Kessler bought O. C. Claus residence on Highland ave.; Claus to move to Eau Claire.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.
