S 07-13-1901 H. W. Lawton building new residence on Chestnut st.; foundation about completed. S 8/24/01 - William and B. W. Rothering injured while working on Lawton residence when ladder fell .
S 07-13-1901 Residence on Ed and William Barrett farm burned; Mrs. Ellen Foley was living there - S 7/20/01. Also in F 7/17/01.
S 07-13-1901 Lightning struck residence on Breuckman farm south of Burlington occupied by Joseph Mascha family.

S 07-20-1901 Arthur Littlefield and family moved to Dennis Forrest residence on Conkey st.
S 07-20-1901 Wilson Newbury and wife moved back to Burlington from Elgin, Ill.; occupy rooms over J. G. Mathews store.

S 08-24-1901 Fred Uhen bought lot on Geneva st. next to F. Schemmer's property from Mrs. Philip Griebel and will build a residence.
S 08-24-1901 Charles Beller and family moved from residence in Perkins South Park to rooms over saloon.
S 08-31-1901 Mrs. Florence Cooper Hall bought from Mrs. J. Cavano the Spoor lot on the corner of Dyer & Jefferson sts. that Mrs. Cavano recently bought.
S 08-31-1901 Dr. H. H. Newbury moved to Knuth residence on S. Pine st.
S 08-31-1901 W. H. Kelsey leased Rewald residence on corner of Chestnut & Kendall sts.
S 08-31-1901 L. L. Owen to move to Sammon residence vacated by W. H. Kelsey.
