S 05-06-1905 F. H. Hastings leased residence on Pine st., just south of St. John's Lutheran church, from C. B. McCanna.
F 12-16-1903 Joseph Quirk leased and moved to Hinzpeter residence on east side of Fox river. S 12/12/03 - John Hinzpeter, who moved to Bloomfield to live with son.
F 12-16-1903 L. J. Brehm and family moved to residence on Schemmer st. recently vacated by John Scheurman / Schuerman. Also in S 12/19/03 - Scheuermann.
F 12-23-1903 Frank H. Dickey denied petition to vacate part of Grove st. at Bohner's lake. Also in S 12/19/03.
S 12-26-1903 Mrs. Folts and family moved to their residence on Liberty st.; house entirely remodeled.
F 12-30-1903 Dr. L. N. Hicks residence on Washington st. partially destroyed by fire. S 1/2/04 - Fire on Dec. 26 does extensive damage Dr. Hicks residence on Washington st. S 1/16/04 - Dr. Hicks preparing to rebuild residence when weather permits.
S 01-02-04 The hard and dangerous work of the volunteer fire department was fully shown at Hicks fire, and the department will be more appreciated than ever. The firemen's clothes froze stiff as soon as they became wet and made their work harder. Neighboring ladies provided them with hot coffee while a bottle or two also come in handy.
F 12-30-1903 Ben Rothering bought property owned by the late Caroline David on Amanda st. near the high school building (Conkey st. school). Also in S 1/2/04. (208 Amanda st. in 1897 Directory.)
F 01-06-1904 E. C. Benson deeded residence property on Lewis st., occupied by George W. Fiske, to daughter, Mrs. W. H. Aldrich. (750 Lewis? 731 Lewis?)
F 01-06-1904 G. W. Buttles and family to move to new residence on James st. S 1/2/04 - House completed. S 1/30/04 - Buttles family moved. F 2/3/04 - Buttles family now occupying new house on Lewis st
S 01-09-1904 Ben Rossmiller bought lot 8, block 4, Perkins Park, from William Forge.
F 01-20-1904 Ernest Tietel bought 120 acres of George E. Rosenhauer farm in town of Burlington. Also in S 1/16/04. S 3/5/04 - Charles Loude moved to Rosenhauer farm recently bought by Tietel.
F 01-27-1904 Ben Rossmiller bought lot in Perkins Park, next to J. C. Salisbury, from William Forge. F 3/9/04 and S 3/12/04.- Rossmiller sold this lot to Mary and Agnes Bell, who may build a residence.
F 01-27-1904 Clarence Beaumont bought the Charles Babcock farm of 180 acres near Honey Creek.
S 01-30-1904 N. O. Levoy, on Ben Kaiser farm 1-1/2 miles northeast of Burlington on Rochester rd., to have auction.
S 01-30-1904 Fire, which started in chimney at B. Tichlofen residence on McHenry st., burned woodwork.
S 01-30-1904 Executor's sale of Wenzil Juraneck estate land advertised: land bordering on west bank of Fox river near place where sections 29 and 28 meet. F 3/16/04 - McCanna bought 20 acres on Rochester rd. from Juranek estate.
S 01-30-1904 George McDonald advertises A. Bartholf farm of 90 acres, 3 miles west of Burlington, for rent.
F 02-03-1904 George W. Fratt bought lots 4 and 5 in block 8, Perkins Park. Located on Edward st. south of Frank Juraneck's / Juranek. Fratts rented and moved to Voorhees house on Dyer st. Also in S 2/6/04.
S 02-06-1904 Will Karges leased Baxter residence on S. Pine st. and will move in.
S 02-06-1904 Mrs. Herman Leopold, living on John Dyer farm on Slade's Corners rd., to auction personal property next Wednesday.
F 02-10-1904 William Rothering bought lot 17, block 3, and B. J. Wentker bought lot 17, block 5, in Perkins Park. Also in S 2/6/04.
S 02-13-1904 Fred Krakofsky offers for rent farm of 70 acres, 2-1/2 miles north of Burlington.
F 02-17-1904 Mrs. Herman Leopold rented Bollow residence on S. Pine st. and will occupy it March 1. Also in S 2/13/04.
S 02-20-1904 Clifford Moe leased B. Kaiser farm from E. C. Benson and moved there.
