S 03-13-1931 Old stone house by side of Burlington road on the Roy Freeman farm being repaired and will again be tenanted. House thought to be nearly 100 years old. Farm owned by C. P. Barnes / Barns. Julius Schiebe was a renter there 65 years ago. Later, farm was sold to Andrew (George?) Verhalen, who passed it on to son, Peter, who sold it to Roy Freeman. S 3/27/31 - Mr. & Mrs. William Schroeder of Burlington moved to the stone house on the side of the road on the Roy Freeman farm last Friday. (Rochester column)
