F 08-14-1930 Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Litzler and family moved from Burlington to Hartford, Wis.
S 08-15-1930 Clarence Jensen rented Luetten & Schwartz residence on Lewis st. and will move in. F 8/21/30 - residence at 118 Lewis st., vacated by Arthur Panknin.
F 08-21-1930 To settle estate, 6-room Winkler house on Perkins blvd., 1 blodk from high school, for sale. (348 Perkins in 1928-29 Directory)
S 08-22-1930 Charles Steffen bought lot 7, block 2, of Perkins South Park from Lawrence Toelle. F 8/21/30 - residence property on corner of Wilmot ave. and Robert st.
F 08-28-1930 Fire destroyed barn and garage building on West st. owned by E. Wehmhoff estate and badly damaged adjoining barn owned by J. M. Uhen. Also in S 8/29/30.
F 08-28-1930 Fire at Lawrence Hegeman farm 5 miles from Burlington past Brown's Lake destroyed contents of barn, including 3 Shetland ponies owned by Russell Bennett. S 8/29/30 - Lawrence Hegeman barn at English Settlement burned; three ponies died in fire. Paper also printed card of thanks.
F 08-28-1930 Mr. & Mrs. Boyd Rose to move from Honey Creek to Burlington and live with Byron Randall. F 9/4/30 - moved.
S 08-29-1930 Mr. & Mrs. John Leber moved to Wilcox flat on Kendall st.

F 09-04-1930 Barn on Charles Thate farm on Hwy. 83, 3 miles south of Burlington, burned Aug. 31 after lightning strike.
