F 09-07-1944 Charles H. Jackson, druggist, bought lot on Randolph st., next to T. C. Burchard, from Waller estate.
S 09-08-1944 Mr. & Mrs. Frank Christien to move to Racine; Edward st. house vacated by Christiens will be occupied by E. F. Ihlenfeld, recently of Milwaukee. S 12/22/44 - Mr. & Mrs. Frank Christien moved from Racine to Glenview, Ill.
F 09-14-1944 Marion D. and Carrie L. McLaughlin sold 3 lots on McHenry st. to Frank and Anna Peters. Sale includes 305 McHenry st. occupied by Ralph Remier and family.
F 09-14-1944 Laura Smith McCourt petition for heirship of Louise Thiede lands on Conkey st. - lots 3 and 4, block 3, Perkins West Addition.
S 09-15-1944 Mr. & Mrs. Herbert Sheard and daughter moved from P. B. Baker farm, Honey Creek, to James Warren farm south of Burlington.

F 09-28-1944 Runkel farm on Highway 50, short distance east of New Munster, sold to Joe E. McCarthy. Tract has been owned by the Runkel family since 1839 when Adolph Rietbrock staked out the land bought from the government. (mentioned twice) Also in S 9/22/44 and S 9/29/44.

F 09-28-1944 S. F. Gee (manager of Montgomery Ward store) and family moved to 705 Lewiis st.
