S 11-21-1947 Mrs. Irene Larson sold residence on McHenry st. to Albert Larson; immediate possession.
S 11-21-1947 Stanley Larson bought Klein camp south of Burlington from Caroline Sulliver of Elkhorn; planning to erect home.
S 11-21-1947 Mr. & Mrs. Alex McEwan moved to Cedar Park from Chamberlin apartments on Jefferson st.; bought home of Levy family.
S 11-28-1947 William Faestel had auction to dispose of property and farm at Honey Creek; to move to Burlington where he bought home.
S 12-05-1947 Mr. & Mrs. Harold J. Weiler moved into new home on Emerson st.
S 12-12-1947 Wallace Lumley bought resort in Tomahawk lake area which he plans to operate.
S 12-12-1947 Harvey J. Hahn bought Wallace Lumley residence on Perkins blvd. and will move from Chicago.
S 12-12-1947 William LaBelle and Jeanne Fell, married Dec. 6, to live at 480 Tower st.

F 12-31-1947 Frank Weinman house on Conkey st. was built by David Wells in the 1840s or 1850s; the Barns family built the Wehmhoff house on Pine st.
S 01-02-1948 David Wells stone house was on corner of Chestnut & Conkey sts.; owned by Frank Weinman, who bought it from the Karcher family about 1910.

F 01-15-1948 John Kempkin / Kempken bought Clarence Bieneman house on Geneva st. S 1/16/48 - Mr. & Mrs. John Kempkin of Rochester bought Clarence Bieneman house on Geneva st. in Burlington and will move Feb. 1. S 1/23/48 - Kempken to move about Feb. 1.
S 01-16-1948 Wallace F. Kiekenbush to quit farming; to have auction on farm 2-1/2 miles south of Burlington on Hwy. P just west of Bohner’s Lake. Also in S 1/23/48.
S 01-16-1948 Arthur Warren purchased the Joe Uhen residence on Perkins blvd. and took possession.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.
