S 03-19-1948 Victor Epping and family moved to Epping home vacated by Dr. & Mrs. W. J. Murawsky.
S 03-19-1948 Fred Tornow offers 77 acre Meinhardt Bank farm, 7 miles northwest of Burlington, for sale or rent.
S 03-26-1948 Mike Frangela, 540 Robert st., offers house on property adjoining high school grounds for sale.
F 04-01-1948 Dr. John A. Wilson, veterinarian, moving to corner of Geneva & Lewis sts. S 4/2/48 - John A. Wilson moved veterinary office and residence to Fulton residence.
S 04-02-1948 Dr. & Mrs. J. G. Weiler bought Jefferson st. property from Joseph A. Rueter estate; sold two small frame buildings to Richard M. Tschantz, who razed them. One of the buildings had been Rueter's carpenter shop and the other was leased by city and used as Hose Co. No. 2 headquarters on Hillside.

S 05-14-1948 Schiefen house at 587 Geneva st. offered for sale. S 5/21/48 - Nancy Cunningham bought Schieffen house. S 5/21/48 - Miss Gertrude Schiefen moved to Milwaukee; Schiefen house formerly owned by Mrs. Frank Zwiebel.
S 05-21-1948 Earl Veenendaal bought lot on Emerson st. and expects to build residence.
S 05-21-1948 Lt. & Mrs. John Atherton and family to live in apartment in Charles Warner home.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.

Whitman School is open by appointment or for special events.
