F 12-18-1951 Donald Reed bought home on Burlington ave. in Huser subdivision.
F 01-10-1950 George Jacobsen bought the Thiede farm near Bohner's Lake. Also in S 1/6/50 and S 1/20/50 - possession a year later. F 1/17/50 - Jacobson, 150 acre farm of late August Thiede. F 1/31/50 - Jacobson moved from Ben-Ayr / BennAyer stock farm to Duckett farm; will move to Thiede farm as soon as possible. Also in S 1/27/50. S 2/3/50 - Jacobson family moved to Duckett farm south of Burlington. S 4/7/50 and F 4/11/50 - Jacobson family moved to Thiede farm.
F 01-10-1950 Luke estate property of 55 acres at Wheatland offered for sealed bid.
F 01-10-1950 Henry Scherrer and family moved to New Jersey. S 1/6/50 - Edgewater, New Jersey.
S 01-13-1950 Earl J. Wilson bought lot on E. Main st. from Charles Ball and started building house. (2) Wilson bought lot from Charles Bull.
S 01-13-1950 Herman and Robert Vohs moved from Rochester to Mrs. Claude Bartholf residence on Chestnut st. which they bought last fall. (mentioned twice)
F 01-17-1950 Mr. & Mrs. Robert Martinson (photo) recently bought Richard Fellows home a half mile west of Burlington.
F 01-17-1950 Mr. & Mrs. Henry Stearns moved from Joseph Speaker house to rented house on Wainwright ave. Also in S 1/20/50.

S 02-03-1950 Henry DeGrave rented apartment owned by Mrs. Margaret Forge and formerly occupied by Mr. & Mrs. Wilfred Hopkins; the Hopkins making their home with Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Wilson.
F 02-07-1950 Andrew Koenen bought Weinberg farm of 212 acres on Hwy. 43 east of Burlington; was Wheeler farm; Koenen will lease out the farm. Also in S 2/10/50 - George Weinberg farm south of Burlington.
F 02-14-1950 Elmer Ebert bought house on Maple ave. in Huber subdivision; 14 acre subdivision plot was originally the Richtman property. Also in S 2/17/50 - last of 4 houses built by J. Henry Huber; possession in April.
S 02-17-1950 Claude Busher having ranch-style home built on corner of Orchard st. & Elmwood ave.
F 02-21-1950 Mr. & Mrs. Dominic King to live at 924 Chestnut st. Also in S 2/24/50.
F 02-21-1950 Mr. & Mrs. Allan Vogt moved from 397 Edward st. to new residence at 447 Perkins blvd. Also in S 2/24/50 - Alan Vogt and family moved to former Oscar Krueger residence on Perkins blvd.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.
