S 07-30-1909 Hiram Wood bought lot on Kane st., south of L. P. Kessler's, from Ed Brook / Brooks.
S 07-30-1909 John Hinzpeter offers 150 acre farm in section 21 for sale.
S 07-30-1909 George F. Jones bought Charles Beller property on Wilmot ave.
S 07-30-1909 Thomas Morton bought 2 lots on corner of Frederick st. & Perkins blvd. from H. A. Runkel.
F 08-04-1909 S. D. Slade bought Diener residence on Kane st. - 429. S 8/6/09 - William Huse and wife will move in when Diener family vacates. F 5/25/10 - Slades moved in. F 6/22/10 - Slade built barn / garage.
S 08-06-1909 Sam Jacobsen leased the Madigan residence on Kane st., soon to be vacated by William Huse.

S 08-13-1909 Harry C. Hansen and Sarah Gaede, married Aug. 3, to live in rooms in Geheb block. Annie Waller and Leroy Fratt were witnesses.
S 08-13-1909 Albert Bernert moved barn he bought from St. Charles to lot he owns in Perkins park and will remodel same into a house. Also in F 8/11/09 & F 9/1/09. (House relocation)
S 08-13-1909 T. G. Buchan leased Fred Uhen residence on Geneva st. recently bought by Isaac Cohen and will move in when Uhen vacates. Also in F 8/11/09.
S 08-13-1909 Eugene Austin and family moved from Lake Geneva to Hatch residence on Kendall st.
S 08-20-1909 L. Holtzheimer bought L. P. Kessler farm of 120 acres in town of Bloomfield.
S 08-20-1909 Fred Krakofsky farm of 58 acres in town of Burlington sold to August Ludwig of Honey Creek. S 3/4/10 - Ludwig moved to Krakofsky place he recently bought.
F 08-25-1909 William Wolfe / Wolff bought house and 1 acre just west of the Catholic cemetery from H. E. Zarwell (of Waukesha).
S 08-27-1909 A. Novak making improvements to his Geneva st. property; triangle bound by Geneva, Washington, & Johnson sts. being filled up.
S 08-27-1909 F. A. Schwaller and sons bought H. Wagner, Sr., residence property on Geneva st. John Trier, who occupied residence for several years, moved to C. F. Ball residence on Pine st. S 9/3/09 - John Trier and family moved to Kurzrok residence on corner of Pine & State sts.
S 08-27-1909 John T. Prasch and John G. Mutter are building concrete wall along shore line of their Brown's lake property, Cedarhurst.
S 09-03-1909 Arthur R. Ball and Edith E. Konst, married Sept. 1, to live in the (Mrs. Herman) Konst residence on Amanda st.
S 09-03-1909 Kessler residence being moved to concrete foundation put in on lot on Kendall st. and will be used as St. Charles parsonage. (House relocation)

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.

Whitman School is open by appointment or for special events.
