S 05-15-1914 Henry Morris leased new residence on Henry st. recently completed by Seth Fratt.
S 05-15-1914 J. Brudy / Bruhy and family moved from Kendall st. to Weinzinger place he recently bought near the St. Paul depot.
S 05-22-1914 Don Dardis leased the George Meadows residence on Dyer st. Also in F 5/20/14.
S 05-22-1914 William Jahns rented the Rewald residence on the corner of Chestnut & Origen sts. Also in F 5/20/14.
S 05-22-1914 R. Carpenter moved to the Mrs. H. Konst residence on the corner of Conkey & Amanda sts. Also in F 5/27/14.
S 05-22-1914 George Taylor leased Mrs. Arthur Ball residence on Conkey st. and moved in.
S 05-22-1914 Frank Epping and Helen Ebbers, married May 26, to live in residence on corner of Randolph st.

F 05-27-1914 E. C. Skogen built a garage on the (Mrs. M. Mathieson / Lenz) property he bought on Perkins blvd. (520 Perkins blvd. in 1922-23 Directory)
F 05-27-1914 Isaac Cohn / Cohen building an addition to the house he bought from E. C. Skogen on the corner of Perkins & Chandler blvds.; Cohn to remodel into 2 flats. Also in S 5/29/14.
F 05-27-1914 Theodore Karges sold residence on Edward st. to Robert E. Bell of Racine. Also in S 5/29/14. Karges rented Pagel residence on Kane st. (Bell was at 381 Edward st. in 1914 Directory.)
S 05-29-1914 Theodore Karges bought lot on Edward st. from Ray Henderson.
S 05-29-1914 R. H. Fitch bought 2 lots on McHenry st. from Mrs. M. K. Wilson.
F 06-03-1914 Mrs. C. E. Reed bought the Carl T. Schmidt place on the north side of the mill pond. Also in S 6/5/14 - known as Neuhaus place, 1 acre with cottage and barn.
S 06-05-1914 Frame residence on Mary Kelly property on Chestnut st., occupied for many years by Lang / Lange family, being moved to the B. H. Kortendick lot on Chestnut st. Also in F 6/10/14. (Note: F 6/3/14 had said that residence was moved to Prasch subdivision.) (House relocation)
S 06-05-1914 John McCourt is building a residence on Origen st. Also in F 6/10/14 - cellar excavated. S 7/10/14 - Frame raised on McCourt's new residence. Also in F 7/22/14.
S 06-05-1914 Elmer Keuper and family moved to Summers residence on Jefferson st.
S 06-05-1914 Mr. & Mrs. Ernst Hillman to move to Marshfield.
S 06-05-1914 C. E. Reed building 200 foot sheep barn on farm on north side of mill pond.
S 06-05-1914 Francis Reuschlein property to be auctioned June 27 - part of lot 3, assignment subdivision no. 1, (Reynolds ave. & Geneva st.) and half interest in lot 4, block 11, original plat (Second & North sts.).
S 06-10-1914 F. E. Kellogg bought lot 15 in Runkel’s addition from H. A. Runkel; lot adjoins the one on which Kellogg is building his new residence. F 10/7/14 - Kellogg's new home nearly ready for occupancy.
S 06-12-1914 Ben H. Rueter bought residence on Geneva st., occupied by A. Bettzig (Betzig), from Mrs. Mary Rothering. Intends to build a new residence. Also in F 6/10/14. S 6/26/14 - residence to be razed and new one built. S 7/31/14 - old residence razed.
S 06-12-1914 B. H. Rueter house - 365 Perkins - facing Perkins blvd. on the east and Robert st. on the south is for sale (same ad ran for many weeks).
S 06-12-1914 Frame up for new residence Frank Wolff is building on farm south of Milwaukee depot.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.

Whitman School is open by appointment or for special events.
