S 04-29-1921 Hugo Raettig leased Schwaller residence on corner of Geneva & Johnson sts. Plans to erect a new residence in Hurtgen addition. Also in F 4/21/21. F 5/26/21 - foundation in for Raettig residence in Hurtgen addition.
F 05-05-1921 Mr. & Mrs. Joe Itzin moved to Minneapolis. S 5/6/21 - He will manage Boutell poultry farm, 6 miles outside city. S 5/6/21 also included an article from the Elkhorn Independent.
F 05-05-1921 John Wards rented F. Schwantz property on Brown's lake road near city limits.
S 05-06-1921 Mr. & Mrs. John Stenhouse rented the "Reil place" on corner of Liberty & Kane sts. owned by Henry Siehoff. F 5/5/21 - George Siehoff residence vacated by George Sutton and family. S 5/13/21 - Stenhouses moved in.
S 05-06-1921 Charles Wilson bought the Emil Dusha residence on Storle ave. Also in F 4/28/21 - Amil Dusha.
S 05-06-1921 F. E. Kellogg bought the new residence being erected on Kendall st. by Luetten & Schwartz. Also in F 5/5/21. S 5/27/21 - Kelloggs moved from the Waller residence on Lewis st. to the Kendall st. residence. F 6/2/21 - moved to the Kendall st. residence bought from Luetten & Schwartz.
S 05-06-1921 A. Sillback bought lot on southeast shore of Brown's lake from Ed Moe and is building a cottage.
F 05-12-1921 Mr. & Mrs. Frank A. Gill moved from Burlington to Chicago.
F 05-12-1921 William Wolf bought J. W. Peters residence on McHenry st. S 5/20/21 - Debbie Wolf.
F 05-12-1921 J. W. Peters acquired 20 acres of land a short distance west of St. Paul depot / Milwaukee depot from William Wolf in exchange for residence on McHenry st.
F 05-12-1921 Aloys Vos and Carrie Schroeder, married May 11, to live in Henry May residence on McHenry st.
F 05-12-1921 Mr. & Mrs. John R. Schneider lived at 412 Edward st.
S 05-13-1921 Mrs. Agnes Langley bought from Ray Zwiebel the residence occupied by her on the corner of Geneva & Johnson sts. Also in F 5/12/21.
S 05-13-1921 L. J. Smith building a new cottage on the west shore of Brown's lake.
S 05-13-1921 Arthur H. Mueller building a new residence on Henry st. F 5/5/21 - awarded contract. F 5/26/21 - foundation in. S 9/30/21 - Mueller to move in.
S 05-13-1921 Seymour White and family moved from Geneva st. to the Ben Yanny residence on McHenry st. F 5/5/21 - White leased Yanny residence on McHenry st.
S 05-13-1921 William Humphery, employed as a salesman for Robert Fitch monuments, leased H. G. Reesman residence on Storle ave. Also in F 5/5/21 - Humphrey a stone cutter.
F 05-19-1921 Mrs. John (Mary) Stoehr lived at 1015 Chestnut st.
F 05-19-1921 Mr. & Mrs. A. Winn and family to move to farm 2 miles south of Burlington on Wilmot-Burlington road, which they've rented. F 11/24/21 - Mr. & Mrs. Winn moving from Burlington back to farm at Wilmot.
F 05-19-1921 Rev. E. V. Schroeder building cottage on his lot at Bohner's lake.
F 05-19-1921 George Sutton family to move to residence at 653 Highland ave., vacated by Mrs. H. Reminger and family.
F 05-19-1921 Mrs. H. V. Marshall advertises property on Chestnut st. for sale.
F 05-19-1921 Otto Runzler, Jr., moved to Mrs. Bertha Meinecke residence on Chestnut st.
F 05-19-1921 Ellen Appleyard advertises house at 607 S. Pine st. for rent.
F 05-19-1921 William Funk at 775 W. Geneva st. advertises barn, 16 x 20 feet, to be moved off premises.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.
