S 04-13-1928 Weygand residence on north side of Jefferson st. east of Main st. (508 E. Jefferson in 2002) - photo. Color picture to be in Milwaukee Journal Sunday. Was early home of the Reil family, grandparents of the Meinhardts.
S 04-13-1928 F. G. Klein Co. offers dwelling on corner of Pine & Mill sts. for sale and removal. Also offers 2 lots on Schemmer st. for sale.
S 04-13-1928 Mr. & Mrs. Charles McManus moved to Mrs. Herman Dettmann flat on Pine st.
F 04-19-1928 Edward Schlitz and Amelia Richter, married April 18, to live on Alfred Sobbe farm 3 miles southeast of Burlington, owned by groom's father. (Wheatland area)

F 04-26-1928 Henry Trinkie / Trinke to be given possession of island in middle of Long Lake, located about halfway between Burlington and Rochester; island is 120 feet wide and 130 feet long; Brock's lake. S 5/11/28 - Henry Trinkle, Racine fireman, bought unclaimed island in Long Lake from government. F 5/22/30 - Henry F. Trinke made homestead entry for island in Long Lake in section 20, town 3.
