S 02-15-1929 Anton Cook farm of 134 acres west of Burlington on Hwy. 36 is sold to George Weiler agency. Weiler sold all of the estate south of the highway, some 50 acres, to Frank J. Meyer and about 25 acres on the north side of the highway to James H. Murphy. Balance of about 60 acres offered for sale in any size parcels. Also in F 2/14/29.
S 02-15-1929 Franciscan Fathers bought farms of Mrs. Theresa (George) Baumeister - 90 acres - and Anton Kipp - 74 acres. To erect a college (graduate school). (2 articles) S 3/22/29 - Mrs. George Baumeister to remain on farm for another year. S 4/19/29 - deed filed on Franciscan Fathers purchase of Baumeister and Kipp farms.
S 02-15-1929 L. B. Peterson bought F. Warner Fellows residence in Prasch addition and will move in. S 3/15/29 - moved in.
F 02-21-1929 Mr. & Mrs. Peter Brown and daughter, Alma Leona, to move from Burlington to Milwaukee.
F 02-21-1929 Parsonage of Methodist church at 523 Perkins blvd.
F 02-21-1929 L. P. Christianson sold farm 10 miles east and 1 mile south of Burlington; to have auction.
F 02-21-1929 Leslie Dunkirk and Mrs. Bernice S. Dunkirk, married Feb. 16, to live at 520 Perkins blvd.
F 02-21-1929 Mr. & Mrs. Al Mercier moved from Burlington to Racine.
F 02-21-1929 Walter F. Blair living at 614 Dyer st.; fire burned small hole in roof.

S 02-22-1929 Horace H. Newbury was born to Mr. & Mrs. W. W. Newbury on what is now (1929) the George Bieneman farm north of Burlington.
S 02-22-1929 Charles H. Miller properties advertised for sheriff's sale - lots 3, 5, and 9 and south half of lot 4 in block 2, Sheldon's First Addition, plus land in section 6 near C.M.& St. P tracks.
S 02-22-1929 Henry Nabor and family leased Keuper residence on Tower (Briody?) st. and will move in March 1.
S 02-22-1929 Mrs. Walter Gabriel and son of Green Bay join Mr. Gabriel who has been here some time working for the telephone company. They will make their home here. Also in F 2/21/29.
S 02-22-1929 Joseph Sobbe leased Henry Krift farm just south of Burlington. Previous occupant, Charles Laudie, moved to Milwaukee.

S 03-01-1929 Arthur Panknin and family moved to Mrs. George Fratt home on Chestnut st.
S 03-01-1929 Frank Warren advertises 140 acre William Murphy homestead in town of Brighton, 2 miles northeast of Wheatland, for sale or rent.
F 03-07-1929 Mrs. Fred Blackburn, 404 Edward st., offers 7 room house on Edward st. for sale.
