S 08-30-1995 Brown’s Lake home of Dr. Michael and Carole Majewski, at 30425 Cedar dr., was one of original summer homes on the north side of the lake. It was built over 100 years ago by the chief of police of Chicago. The home was converted to a year-round residence in the 1930s. Home to be on 1995 Tour of Homes. Tour of homes started in 1965.
