S 11-05-1915 W. H. Gruno leased Hogan Olson residence on corner of Conkey & Amanda sts. and will move in. S 11/12/15 - deal for former Tom Dalton residence fell through; Gruno leased H. J. Kortendick residence on Lewis st.
F 11-10-1915 Andrew Jacobs sold residence in Prasch addition to Mr. H. B. Pierce of Antioch. Also in S 11/12/15 - L. Pierce. F 11/24/15 & S 11/26/15 - H. B. Pierce and family moved in.
S 11-12-1915 Fire in ash barrel in attic of Schwaller residence on corner of Geneva & Johnson sts.; A. Nolte and family occupy first floor; a number of Greeks occupy the second floor.
F 11-17-1915 Joe Eckert to build a residence on the lot he purchased on Henry st. Also in S 11/19/15 - lot purchased from Mrs. Bertha Berger.
S 11-19-1915 Andrew Jacob / Jacobs and family moved to J. G. Mutter residence on Chestnut st.
S 11-19-1915 Fire at John F. Wegge farm house.
S 11-19-1915 Theodore Prott and Annie Fallon, married Nov. 16, to live in new house Prott built on corner of Geneva & Kendall sts.
S 11-19-1915 Owner at 770 Lewis st. advertises lot with 80 feet on James st. and 112 feet on Lewis st.
S 11-19-1915 Mrs. Sarah Scott, living at 645 Jefferson st., advertises dressmaking services.
S 11-19-1915 Lester Evans rented flat over Wilbur Lumber Co. office.
S 11-19-1915 Harold Runkel bought lot 4 in Runkel's addition from Mr. & Mrs. Henry A. Runkel.
F 11-24-1915 George Schumann and family moved to new home in Prasch addition. Also in S 11/19/15. S 1/7/16 - Geneva st. (s/b Orchard st.)
F 11-24-1915 R. Weygand building a large new cottage on the peninsula at Brown's Lake. Will have a large kitchen to serve fish fries. Also in S 11/19/15.
F 11-24-1915 Mr. & Mrs. Leo Schenk moved to new bungalow in Prasch subdivision. S 11/19/15 - on Geneva st.
S 11-26-1915 J. W. Cotter and wife leased Voorhees residence on Dyer st.; will move in when Charles Teut and wife vacate.
S 11-26-1915 H. F. Smith, Swift & Co. meat salesman, and family moved from Burlington to former home in Chicago.
S 11-26-1915 William Nienhaus and Marie Wegge, married Nov. 23, to live in new Mutchler flat on Pine st. S 12/3/15 - getting settled.
S 11-26-1915 William Carpenter and Olive Eppers, married Nov. 24, to live in McCanna residence on Main st. (former Ben Meyer residence). S 12/10/15 - getting settled.
F 12-01-1915 Charles McCumber sold 133-acre farm just south of the city to Henry Krift. Also in S 12/3/15 - possession March 1.
S 12-03-1915 Matt Rewald and Louise Vollbrecht, married Dec. 1, to live with Mrs. H. Rewald on corner of Chestnut & Kendall sts.
S 12-03-1915 Fred F. Henningfield advertises 8 room house, barn, and 1 acre for sale.
S 12-03-1915 William Grunow and family moved to H. J. Kortendick residence on Lewis st. after lease on Wentker House hotel expired.
S 12-03-1915 Mr. & Mrs. William Parkens moved to Waukesha. (Had lived at 464 Perkins blvd.)
S 12-03-1915 George Henry and family to move to California. (Lived at 450 McHenry st.)
F 12-08-1915 William Mathews bought Miss Isabel McKercher property on Kane st. Also in S 12/10/15.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.

Whitman School is open by appointment or for special events.
