S 08-07-1931 Schuette & Vorpagel Furniture & Undertaking Co. bought Harry Kerkman house on Wilmot ave. and will remodel it to use as funeral home. (S 2/17/39 called it Mathews residence.)
S 08-07-1931 Frank Ruzicka to build a new residence on Kane st. just south of George Waller's home. S 8/21/31 - New home to be built of Sunset stone.

Also lots 10, 11, and 12, block 1, Perkins South Park - vacant lots on east side of street. S 9/4/31 - Elmer Brook bought the Second st. residence occupied by Mrs. Dillenbeck. Henry A. Rueter bought one lot and William Storey bought the other two in Perkins South Park.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.

Whitman School is open by appointment or for special events.
