F 01-11-1940 Howard A. Wood recently bought John W. Peters residence at 441 Edward st. (Meadows house) and has remodeled it into 3 flats. Flats are rented by Carl Alterburn / Altenbern, Carlyle Reed, and Althea Weinkauf.
F 01-11-1940 G. C. Beasecker bought property at 391 Edward st., occupied by Ben Rossmiller. F 2/1/40 - Bought from Vincent Lois. F 2/29/40 - Beasecker moved in.
F 01-11-1940 Fred Lohaus bought 40 acres on river road south of Burlington from John Uhen. S 1/12/40 - 40 acres of Fox river front land.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.

Whitman School is open by appointment or for special events.
